When you use the auto mode on the v11 is it supposed to change suction between hardwood floors and carpet??

Welcome to the Dyson Community!
Whether or not your Dyson V11™ vacuum includes Auto mode or not depends on when you bought your machine. This feature was originally included when V11™ was first launched in 2019, but is no longer included on current V11™ variants.
On current variants, you’ll see ‘Med’ mode instead across all floor tools and accessories.
