Very disappointed with my V11 absolute+. Bought in 2020 and the motor stopped working after the warranty expired. Called the technical support and was told to replace the motor for $218. I had the same motor problem before with my V6 fluffy. This is just ridiculous.

I am not sure how it works stateside, but Dyson UK offer a flat fee for a repair. This includes all parts and labour. They award any part they then replace with a 1 year warranty.
Does the US do something similar? Might be a way to reduce the cost.
