v11 keeps turning off

Hi - I have a v11 bought about 6 months ago, every time I turn it on, it runs for few seconds and then turns off. I cleaned the filter, and removed all visible debris in the canister but still have the same problem. Anyone else have a similar issue?

Update - I ended up taking the vacuum into a Dyson Service Center, they ended up replacing the turbine and works fine. Thank you.

Hi @9vmalmeida,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

To troubleshoot the machine, could you please confirm whether the digital screen displays an alert or if the LED lights are blinking when the machine cuts out? Alternatively, if there are no lights on the vacuum, please let us know. This information will help us pinpoint the exact issue with your Dyson and assist you further.

I’ll look forward to hearing back from you!

Hi - Thanks for the reply. The display shows battery status/modes (ie Econ, Med, etc). It’s like I took my hand off the trigger but I didn’t and stops. Thank you.

Hi @9vmalmeida,

Thank you for getting back to me!

To resolve the issue, please ensure that the machine is fully charged by connecting it to the charger either directly or through the docking station. The blue LEDs on each side of the battery should light up. Could you please confirm if the blue lights are flashing or if the machine is showing no lights at all? This will help us identify the exact issue you are facing with your machine.

I’ll look forward to hearing back from you!

Hi @Aastha - thanks for the reply. I can confirm the blue lights are flashing. There is power to the vacuum, when I click on the trigger it runs for a few seconds, then stops while I have my hand on the trigger. The experience is similar to taking my hand off the trigger to stop using the vacuum, but in my scenario my hand remains on the trigger and then stops. I hope this makes sense. Thank you.
