V11 wall mount | Dyson Community

I’ve just purchased a new V11 to replace my old V8 which had seen better days. However on fitting the new wall mount for the V11 I notice it has been redesigned. We have our charge cable coming out of the wall (not in view) as it is hidden behind the Dyson wall mount. The old mount had designed in a nice access hole to allow this but the new mount does not have such a hole. What is the solution? We can’t run it down the wall as there is no plug socket the wall the Dyson is on? Solutions?

Hi,

My country of residence is the UK.

Images attached. First picture is the old wall mount for the V7 which has an access point of the cable coming out of the wall. Second picture is the wall mount of our new v11 no way to access the cable?

Here's the guide.

Hi,

This guide is for installation of the wall mount when the plug socket/power is on the same wall, as can be seen in the last elements of the guide with the cable clearly going down the outside of the wall to the 3 pin plug socket.

My fitment does not have a plug socket on the wall the mount is on, as the cable is within the wall. As the power source is elsewhere in the house.

What is the recommended solution?

Many thanks

Send us photos of the way from the power source all the way to where you want to install the wall dock.
