the motorhead Part No. 971358-02 gold digital head on my dyson v15 failed and customer service replaced it with a different model 971358-01 blue colour bar I then spoke to customer service and they said they did this because Part No. 971358-02 was out of stock so they said they would order the silver bar model Part No. 972182-03 which arrived today but again it was 971358-01 blue colour bar so I called customer service and they apologised asking me again to return the blue bar with the provided label which I did this afternoon and they would again send the silver bar head. They where sure this time it would be the correct one as it was showing in stock has anyone had the same issue and also is model 971358-01 blue the same function as 971358-02 with the colour being the only difference?

I’ve been advised by Dyson that motorhead Part No. 971358-02 gold digital head is now discontinued Part No. 972182-03 replaces this part.
