I’ve read a number of posts about the V15 not working on medium depth carpet. This is very disappointing, my origional dyson worked just fine, how can the new model not work on the exact same carpet. I’ve tried both ends of the adjustment on the carpet head with the same result, too much suction so the head stops spinning and you can no longer push it. It’s a lot of money for a vacuum that doesn’t work on carpet.

They say that using it on eco mode works. I’ve got the Gen5 Absolute and to be able to vacuum a really short (3-4mm) shag style rug, I have to switch to the pet hair tool. Really frustrating that a $1500 vacuum doesn’t do what the old Dyson V6 does with ease.
