so ive got a v15. its draining battery when in stand btly mode and doesnt power up straight away, have to pump the trigger a few times to get it going but once its runing its fine. any ideas?

Thanks for letting us know about this - can you let us know roughly how long you’ve had your Dyson V15 Detect™ vacuum? It would also be useful to know how you store your machine when it’s not in use - do you keep it in the wall dock/plugged in to the charger cord?

Hi. I've had for over a year now. Yh so I do keep it on the dock most of the time but if I leave it off charge over night or for longer than a 4 hours it drains the whole battery and thats on stand by . I can rule out the battery as I've tested it on a brand new battery and still does the same thing
I too have this issue. Was this ever answered? Its really depressing that I paid hundreds of dollars for an issue like this. I should not have to keep my vacuum constantly on a charger if its not being used.
