V15 submarine water not dispensing | Dyson Community

We have a Dyson V15 submarine, bought about 4 months ago. The water does not dispense when trying to mop the floors. The troubleshooting guide asks for the first 3 digits of serial number, but it does not recognise the first 3 digits? Can anybody help?

Hi @Begsathome,

Welcome to the Dyson Community!

To troubleshoot your machine, kindly hold the wet roller head over a sink. Also, hold the wet roller head at the edges, press the red quick-release button and slide out the removable cassette from the main roller head.

If there is any water in the waste extraction tray please empty it.

Kindly check that the water reservoir isn’t running out of water. Fill the water reservoir to the MAX line with cold clean water.

If you decide to use detergent, please choose gentle, common household detergents, and do not use bleach and high-foaming formulation. Please follow the manufacturers guidance on the recommended dilution on surfaces cleaning - We do not recommend putting neat detergents in the clean water tank.

Check within the snorkel to ensure there are no blockages.

Screw the cap clockwise until securely attached to the water reservoir.

Ensure the snorkel is facing down so that the opening faces the floor when in use.

With the wet roller in place on the main roller head, slide the waste extraction tray and water reservoir back into the main roller head until you hear a click.

Ensure the guide slides into the channel on the main roller head and that there is no debris in the channel that may be blocking the guide.

Attach the main roller head to your wand and retest. It may take a few moments for the water to emerge.

Please confirm, has this resolved the problem?

I'll look forward to speaking with you!
