When I am holding down on the power button of my V8 absolute and vacuuming it will cut off then on. It acts as though the power button has a short in it or not making contact with the area in the button that makes it run.
On the Absolute you have to hold down the power button with your finger for it to run.

Just to confirm, is Dyson V8 Absolute vacuum pulsing rapidly on and off when you hold the trigger down, or does the power seem to cut out intermittently?
