It will depend on where the machine was purchased. 
 

Machines sold in the US will be 120V, whereas European/UK machines will be 230V

As ​@shan has mentioned, Dyson machines are engineered to work effectively with the voltage range of the region they’re sold in. If you purchased within the US, your 110-120v Dyson DC41 vacuum wouldn’t be compatible with the 230-240v European power supply.

We advise against the use of adaptors or transformers - as we haven’t manufactured these items, we can’t guarantee that your machine will work correctly. Any damage caused by use with an adaptor or transformer may not be covered under your Dyson warranty.
