I cannot seem to register my device

Hi, I have tried to register my device using your UK website, but it keeps showing up with an error message confirming that it is unable to allocate the product. I have tried to use the digital bot as well, but it cannot recognise my email either. Extension Wand

So I have had my new Dyson vacuum for a few weeks now. I love everything about my machine except for how difficult the wand extension is to use. Trying to extend it as the weight of the machine keeps pulling back. I read a previous response which said it is “new, and will loosen up...” Well how long is it new? I don’t see this pull back getting any better soon. Thanks!

Animal ball 3 won't recline and the hoses are not blocked

My animal 3 was reclining and after using it, paused and turning it back on, it won’t recline. I checked the hoses for blockage and all was clear. I don’t know what or how to check anything else and need help! Prior to it being stuck, when moving it from room to room, it very often would recline without wanting it to when moving. So did something break inside the ball? I can only get the cover off to change the filter but not the other side.

DYSON Ball Animal 2 Origion roller brush not working

The vacuum turns on, there is suction, but the brush bar is not spinning. Thinking that it was the attachment head brush, I replaced it with a new attachment head brush, and that didn’t help. I tested both the on/off buttons and the head brush buttons, and they both work correctly. I even tried to reset the head brush (not even sure if I have the correct procedure for that, other than what I found online). What else could it be that is stopping the brush bar from spinning?

DC39 causing power issue

My DC39 has recently developed a problem that it has tripped the house power instantly and consistently does so as soon as it is switched on. After investigation it was thought the motor was probably the cause. The brushes are good, no damage or breaks evident. No signs of any loose terminals or cable damage either. The power switch meters out as operating correctly. The DC39 has been owned for a number of years and, along the way, has been maintained correctly with regular filter and brush head cleaning, etc. and has had one motor replacement. In use it has had its fair share of moments when navigating it round the house that it has toppled on its side due to its design. I was wondering if this may have caused a possible short in the motor winding or something? I purchased a new motor last week and, after stripping the machine down and cleaning everything inside, installed the new motor. Once reassembled, I switched it on and, sadly, encountered the same result - power tripped out ins

Can I use my Dyson vacuum cleaner to remove asbestos?

Possible asbestos exposure on carpet. Will any fibres get trapped inside the filter and not expel back into the room. Very worried. Have an animal ball multi floor. Helpline was not at all helpful. Washed carpet with a Vax. Want to hoover to make sure all fibres are gone but concerned they will get back into air in the room through the Dyson [Moderation edit - title updated]

Did Dyson do a soft launch of the Big Ball Turbine Head?

The cyclone on this machine is entirely yellow except for the shroud and red ring which acts as a squeegee when emptying the bin. Priced at 199.99 it’s technically a rerelease of the first album with some subtle changes. I don’t care what anyone says I love my Dyson Cinetic canister but Lady inhales vigorously has reached the 5-year warranty and I have to replace my Dyson Canister Cinetic because Dyson has decided not to make the post-motor filter available for purchase for my Cinetic. I don't believe in stick vaccums nor AI controlled vacuums. Any thoughts about this mysterious canister?

I think its not the Dyson but the people working at Customer support who don't care Customers.

Hello, I Ordered the “Ball Animal 3 Complete” Vacuum cleaner online as I could get that $550+ vacuum for only $450 online. My order was supposed to reach me in 9 days and it did not. The package was shipped using UPS. On the date of the delivery, UPS delivered a small box with the same tracking number which was supposedly on the Vacuum cleaner. At first, I thought I made a mistake in ordering and quickly checked my Order again and sure I ordered a vacuum cleaner. When I saw the box which arrived at my home was already torn a little so I opened it fully coz it was so heavy that I was wondering what in the earth was that, turns out the “Wheel hub bearing assembly” for a truck along with a Milwaukee Plyer. I called UPS and Dyson both giving them the details of it. UPS said it would launch an investigation and Dyson said They would send me another Vacuum cleaner with a new tracking number. My first order with the first tracking number was ordered around 2nd of Aug, 2024 and till date both

why is getting my replacement such a nightmare!!

I’ve had a Dyson Animal 2 for 6 years now and love the vaccum. It works great and I was loyal Dyson customer until recently.. About 3 months ago, one side of the vaccum head stopped spinning. I cleared out the animal fur and turned it back on. Still not working. I called Dyson and they did not have a replacement head or vacuum but were going to upgrade me to an Animal 3!! I was excited to get an upgrade and that’s when my experience turned terrible!! I shipped my Dyson back and they turned around my Animal 3 quickly. Unfortunately it made it to Dallas through UPS and never made it any further as they lost it or was stolen. I waited a week and called Dyson and they shipped another one with faster speed. Same issue with the next one. Shipped via UPS and is stuck in Dallas lost or stolen. I waited two weeks to call Dyson and was on Hold with customer service whose resolution it was to have me wait until a vacuum that was lost or stolen by UPS is returned and then wait another 2 weeks to r

On our DC25 there is a gasket above the cyclone that covers all 5 ports. Is this a replaceable part as it has broken up.

V15 Absolute Vs DC41 Animal

I have a dc41 Animal, which I would like to use as a second vacuums to my V15 Absolute. However the suction on the DC41 is so poor, I have lots of dog hair which the V15 handles with ease, but the DC41 will not suck it all up. Are the newer Corded Animal uprights better than the cordless for suction? I have replaced all filters in the DC41 and checked everything for blockages.

Order Communication ?

Already disappointed with my choice to order another Dyson after retiring my DC07 after 18 (!!!) years. I guess I'm in denial despite reading all the negative feedback across the internet. Ordered a Big Ball a week ago. I reviewed the shipping info and FAQ several times. There was no indication of back etc, machine was in stock and ready to ship. I didn't even receive a confirmation email until today - which is crazy !! Basic online commerce. The email is as if I JUST ordered it today rather than 7 days ago. "THANK YOU! YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PLACED AND IS CURRENTLY PROCESSING. Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time." Sure that's all fine, except that's far from what you said when I ordered it, what your FAQ says, and what your digital assistant says. Perhaps this was a gift for someone - and you still factored in an extra week or so ...but will still be WAY off. Or as in my case, you live in the mountains and you're going out of town. We don't care how long it takes real

animal wand stuck in handle

After connecting the wand to the hose and attachment and hovering when trying to disconnect the parts to put the machine away I am unable to remove the wand from the handle it is very stuck. Any idea how to disconnect it from handle as it can no longer be stored away and also I cannot use the roller.

Poor Customer Service

Hi All, I wondered if someone can advise. I’ve got a faulty Big Ball animal 2. I spoke to an advisor last week who arranged for a collection today (16/07) I’ve waited in all day and no one’s arrived. I’ve called Dyson and got a “oh sorry to hear that” and they have rescheduled another collection for 7 days time. I kindly asked if a collection could be made earlier due to a up coming vacation and the time I’ve been without a working hover but was told a blunt “no”. I feel being without a hover for already 11 days with a pet and having to wait a further 7 days plus how ever long it will take to repair/replace unacceptable. Is there a complaints team I can speak to at all to escalate this and hopefully get it collected sooner? Thanks.

Not received a return label for faulty dyson vacuum cleaner accessories

I ordered dyson vacuum cleaner accessories online, which was under V15 but what I received is not compatible with V15. Now when I have to return this I see the return service is terrible. After registering return request, emailing, calling so many times, still haven’t received a return label. In the world of technology, for getting such an easy and static thing is a nightmare. The customer call line is taking hours, even after getting connected and getting assurance that they will send a return label, haven’t received it yet. Now I am so tired and regretting even buying the Dyson vacuum cleaner.

Swaps

Hi, Does anyone know if the is a swapping system/option? I bought a corded Dyson Big Ball couple of years ago and have only used it once. I have a bad back and the suction was far too strong for me to use the hoover. It has been sitting in ots box ever since. I have tried to sell it a few times on the usual selling sites but had no response. Any ideas? I didn't buy directly from Dyson and it was left in its box a good 6 months or so before even opening so didn't think I could return it to the supplier at that stage. Thanks

Cylinder Assembly Manual Available?

Aside from the standard 16-page user manual that comes with the vacuum cleaner upon purchase, has Dyson also have available a assembly manual for the cylinder of the CY23 Big Ball [moulded red] vacuum cleaner? I pulled apart the cylinder to clean every part, but upon reassembly the suction power is now nothing compared to what it was when purchased new last November. Since reassembly the bin’s red lever rod is now about 1cm away from the bottom hatch’s latch despite the hatch’s rubber o-ring seal properly reinserted. I phoned yesterday Dyson Australia Service Centre’s 1800 number but was met with a Philippino call centre customer service representative who said they’ll email me ove the next copuple of days but I don’t think I’ll receive word back from them, especially as my request was probably lost in translation. Can instead Dyson head office, whether they’re located in UK or whereever on planet Earth possibly directly provide me such an assembly manual?
