Upright vacuum part out of stock - Help

I have a Dyson upright vaccuum sn JN2-US-GDA4139A. for 6 months I have been trying to buy a replacement power nozzle. All I get is currently out of stock. I have checked the box for email an email update with no response. I have also done an online chat. I was told that a different replacement part, Part no. 970340-01, would fit and is in stock. I agreed to have the rep. order the part only to be told that the part is not available at my location. wth? (Moderation edit - Tags Added/ Title Updated)

Where can one find the model number of one's upright please?

Good idea having models colour differentiated ….. unless the one you have falls between two colours (either sun bleached or natural variation). I have either a 40 or a 41 and want to be sure which when ordering spares

Cordless V7 won't work when you attach vacuum head

I have a V7, without any attachments it runs fine, soon as you put an attachment on, it won't work. I pulled it apart, cleaned it all, cleaned the connector points with alcohol. Some attachments now work fine but put the head on, it won't work.  Please help(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Dyson Ball Animal + vs Dyson Ball Animal 2

So I have a Dyson Ball Animal +.   Is this the same thing as a Dyson ball animal 2?  I am trying to get a new hose and unsure if they are the same thing.  I went to look up the SN on the machine and it does not even recognize it.

Feedback - Dyson Upright - Ball Animal3

Fell into the trap of all the Dyson hooplah and fanfare. You guys must pay your advertising agency and “user reviews” posters tons. That would explain where all the money goes, because it sure isn’t into creating functioning products or customer service and support. Paid $500 for the much hyped Dyson Ball Animal 3. Unboxed it and set it up as per the instructions, and the wand works but it doesn’t switch suction to the front. Called support, got disconnected because of an issue on their end, and no call back. Called again. Went through the steps with the CSR, who insulted me because I didn’t see a “C” ring, which is present on the Animal2 and not the 3 by the way. Still couldn’t get it to work. Now I have to package the thing up and send it back.No way I’m getting caught up again. Give me my money back, I’ll go get a Shark for a third of the cost.  (Edited by moderator – Title amended/Tags added/Moved to new category)

slim ball multifloor cleaned but no suction in rollers

I have totally disassembled and cleaned my slim ball multi floor when it stopped turning on. It had paper in hose and hair in rollers. It now looks new yet suction is coming out of top of ball into dust collector but no suction to roller bars. Did I put it back together incorrectly? DC 11 wand replacement

Hi, the telescoping wand on my DC 11 is in poor condition but the vacuum is still working great.  Will any of the newer wands fit or can any of them be adapted to work on the DC 11?

Small ball upright - Won't fix into the upright position

Motorheads - Cross Compatibility

Do all dyson motorhead attachments work on all dyson corded models ?I have a dc23 and need a new motorhead, I've seen a few online and the price's very for new and used, so i need to know if what i buy will work i my machine?thanks (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

DV41 Animal - Cleaner broken

Hi everyone.My Animal won’t suck. The brushes spin and it sucks up on the floor, but when I use the hose part it won’t work and there is a really strange noise.I tried calling the number on the website but they wanted me to take the hoover apart. As I am not very mobile and take things slowly, I couldn’t do it. Can anyone send me recording to show my grandson? Thank you for all the help.
