Is there a glue that works?

Hello Everyone.

I have a CY27 Ball Multi Floor with pneumatic head. It is just outside of the 5 year warrenty and the articulating section of the head has broken.

I have tried Superglue and JB Weld Plastic. Neither held.

What glue will work? Does anyone know the type of plastic used?

Dyson Customer Service couldn't answer.

Thanks

Hi @NikRavo,

Welcome to the Dyson Community - sorry to see this has happened to your machine’s floor tool.

This isn’t the type of repair we would normally ask an owner to complete themselves. We’re not in a position to recommend particular epoxies or adhesives to complete a repair like this, as this isn’t something we’ve tested. And as the floor tool is subjected to push force and friction during use (as well as occasional impacts with furniture and obstacles!), a temporary fix may not stand up long to actual use.

To ensure the most robust and reliable user experience, we’d suggest replacing the floor tool.
