The cleaning head was replaced in August 2023 on my Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal. It has a design fault, hair gets trapped between the roller and a tab that protrudes and jams the roller. See photo.
I called CS who agreed a free repair,
IF I wait 10 days for a courier, 7 days with a repair agent and another 7 days plus to be couriered back. Or pay £65 for a new head. In other words lets wind you up so you don’t want to be without your machine. It’s a user removable part, why on earth do I have to return the whole machine? It’s simply to make life as difficult as possible.

My daughter had a similar problem with her Shark, part sent, along with a free kit. Dyson, learn from them.
