Hi. Our vacuum is less than a year old. It has recently been emitting a smell similar to ionized air. I thought it might be the belt, so disassembled the unit to remove the motor assembly. Upon powering, I've confirmed the smell is coming from the motor unit. It doesn't smell like burning rubber, and the axles are spinning normally. Observationally, there appears to be quite a bit out arcing between the motor brushes. Does anyone have any experience with this issue?
