Upright DC25 Metal Spring Stuck in Ball

There is a metal spring see attached picture that won’t release.  Any ideas of how to fix this?

Hi there @melmore

Thanks for making us aware of this.

In some markets the DC25 has been retired, so it does depend where you are located to if there are part available for purchase.

I recommend giving this article a read and following the link to your local Dyson website. A notice will appear on the page if they are no longer able to provide parts.

How to: Order spare parts and accessories

In the event the part isn’t available or Dyson no longer sell the parts, there is a host of third-party retailers that sell official Dyson parts. I’ve shared the list below:

  • eSpares
  • PartMaster
  • Buyspares
  • Spares2Go – genuine parts from Spares2Go are only available on Amazon
  • 4Your Home
  • PartCentre
  • Appliance Spares Warehouse

The mods completely missed the mark here.. Unless you can get a screw driver in, you’ll probably have to dismally the lower portion of the unit.
