My headphones broke and I returned them. It’s now 3 weeks plus and despite 3 calls I’m getting no answers or an exchange. And now they’ve redesigned the headphones. This customer experience is awful. I want to return the product and be done with Dyson. How do I do this? It’s so frustrating.

Can’t understand why it is Dyson makes it so difficult to get our questions answered, dial the 0800-number and if our question is least bit difficult the line is cut straight to the call survey.What are the inner dimensions of the ear cushions? really need to know this given how uncomfortable it is wearing headphones where the ear cushion does not completely encase my ears Additional ear cushions and outer caps sold separately - fantastic. Now, if only I can find a link to the webpage to see ‘how much’ ...Just my thoughts before I go splashing out £449.99Thank-youPS Ah, so we type ‘ea’ in Search amd there we have it, Ear cushions, magic. £49.99? that’s on the high side. Dyson Zone battery drains when not using

I’ve been using Dyson zone for a few months, but I noticed the battery drains quite fast when I do not use it.For example, it has around 80% battery when I last use it. After around 5 days of not using it, the battery drains to 20%. This means I need to charge it regularly, even when not using. I suspect my Dyson zone has a faulty auto pairing function. When I look at my ipad and iPhone, it is frequently paired with it even when I disconnected it and turn off the Dyson zone.Is there any way I can turn off the auto pairing function? Or is there any other ways I can attempt so that my Dyson zone battery do not drain when not in use? This is so super annoying and I wonder if my Dyson zone is faulty or that this battery drainage symptom is a feature….

Dyson Zone Absolute Not Charging / Turning On - Red LED Blinking

I bought my Dyson Zone Headphones for my birthday in Australia last March 2024 and now come May 2024 its broken. It just flashes red when plugged in, and holding the airflow button just lights up the white LED for 2 seconds and turns off rightafter. The problem is that I live in the Philippines and the local Dyson here doesn’t support the Dyson Zone for repair or even at least a checkup. Hope someone can help me cause spending $900 AU / Php38,000 for using the device in less than 2 months feels very heavy. I was suppose to review this for my blog, and looks like I won’t be able to do so for now. Thanks

Why do headphones only come in one ugly color?

As amazing as the features of the Dyson headphones sound, the color alone is enough to prevent me from purchasing. Why can’t Dyson create headphones in a variety of colors? Personally, the Blush/Copper color that the new hair tools come in is absolutely beautiful. Why not make pink headphones as well? I’d purchase those in a heartbeat. Any thoughts?

Dyson zone with a generic USB-C to 3.5mm cable

Hello Everyone, New owner of a Dyson Zone (not the Absolute+ model) and really enjoying the headphones. The build quality is top notch, the noise cancelling on par with top tier headphones and sound signature very balanced, airy and quite neutral.As stated in the title I bought the normal model without the travel 3.5mm cable and adapter. The Dyson cable and travel adapter are out of stock everywhere so I decided to acquire a standard (non Dyson) USB-C to 3.5mm audio jack but it seems that the headphones do not recognise it. The generic cable works with other headphones I have. Can someone confirm if the headphones only work with the Dyson cable and adapter or if we can use a third party cable? If it only works with the Dyson cable, where can we buy the cables as they are not available anywhere that I can find.It may also be worthwhile to update the documentation as I did not find anything covering the topic other than one post on this forum showing the setup to listen to airplane enter

Need to add some functions to the zone + app

For starters, I would buy the airplane adapter if it was in stock, but we really need a more “permanent” option for wired use, especially since it’s not likely Dyson is going to support this super low volume niche product forever and the batteries are non-replaceable, being able to use them wired for long term support is just an important part. They’re built like tanks and sound incredible, but batteries wear out and it’d suck to have thousand dollar paperweights. Also nothing can do proper multipoint and I just want a wired connection when I’m at my laptop. It’s so much more convenient.Just firmware them to wire their internal DAC to receive data from usb-c. They have a dac inside them already and with the airplane adapter existing, definitely are able to decode. It’s a nice feature to sell that charge + data cable, but if it’s not included with the headphones, we need to be able to use usb-c at a minimum. Also, provide a custom EQ slider for users with 6 or 8 sliders. The zones have

Dyson Zone LED lights

I absolutely love my Dyson zone, but over the last couple of weeks I’ve noticed different LED charging lights. Sometimes it slowly pulses white, Other times it slowly pulses yellow, and sometimes it’s solid green. I assume solid green is charged. But what’s the white and yellow? Also, does anyone know if there is a way to contact Dyson in regards to feature requests or product feedback?

Dyson Zone problem not starting

Hi guys,My Dyson Zone do not start for a while. I plug it for charging and orange flushing but not charging. Also do not connect to app or the app cannot find my headphones. I tried to press the starting button for 2 sec and even tried for 5 sec and 15 sec but it doesn’t start anyway. Do you have any idea how to start my headphones? Is there anyway to reset it? Intended use case for Dyson Zone?

Hi,I was curious why Dyson decided to pair headphones with air purification, to design this product. Dyson has done air purification, but not audio before to my knowledge. Why make this bet on air purification headphones when there are already n95 masks out there? I think I do see a long more young people wear over the ear headphones these days. Was the idea to add purification for those that enjoy listening to music on the go? I think I saw a photo of James Dyson wearing these on the Tube. I think wearing these in a stuffy or smelly subway, especially like NYC for example, would make sense. But only for those that are bold enough. Clearly these are very conspicuous devices, and I’m wondering what Dyson’s thoughts are on the willingness of people to wear something like this. I’m not sure if covid and the normalization of masks was related. Thank you,Henry

So I wrote this on Reddit but thought I’d post it here as well for anyone looking for impressions from somebody who has insane levels of scent sensitivity: Okay so ever since the first day I saw the Dyson Zone announced, I've wanted a pair. I know for a lot of people even after all the mask stuff related to covid were still worried about looking weird wearing them. When Will the Zone Headphones Launch in Canada?

Hi there, I’ve been asking around and I haven’t been able to find when the Dyson Zone headphones will be available in Canada? I’ve been waiting patiently for these since they launched but they’re still not on sale in my country.I suffer from MCS (basically any perfume in the air even just a few particles per million will trigger a severe reaction. It’ll cause painful migraines that also trigger my fight or flight reflex in super irrational ways. Basically it’s like I’ve been drugged and at the very best I’m just in a lot of pain and loopy, at worst I get paranoid, angry and can’t stop thinking that jumping off my balcony would be a good way to make the pain stop.)So I’ve really been looking forward to these launching in Canada. But it’s taking forever. I’ve heard that if I bought them on Amazon and just had them shipped to Canada the warranty would still be honoured? I’d rather not do that as that adds a few hundred dollars to the price with import duties and what not.Anyway, any clari

DJ'in' with the Zones... Images included

So, I dabble in a lot of things, and this past weekend I DJ’ed a birthday party. I usually use either my Sennheiser HD 25’s or my AKG N90Q’s, but decided to test this 8 hour party with the Zones.TL;DR - I was not disappointed.Something I like to do is put the headphones on top of my head (off my ears) so I can hear the room. The Dyson headband is strong enough to “hold in place” when I put the phones on my head ( meaning the ear cups are pressed against my head as if my head was listening.. does that make sense?) so I can quickly assess the audio and make a tweak if need be. Because they also flip out they can lay flat on my DJ controller which is a plus.I connected the charging cable, mainly to see if it would interfere with my operating, and it was not a problem. The cans will last for hours if you are not using filtration ( I did not use any filtration this time -- just as headphones) but still wanted to see how I got on with it should I ever find myself needing to connect them to s

Headphones - Is the App AQ metrics broken?

Went for a walk in Chicago. The smoke has made the air quality some of the worst in the world. Yet the app has the air quality as 0.4. The same it is inside, the same it is all of the time. What gives? Are other people noticing this? I wonder if my device is faulty in some way.

Was totally in the "Zone" today...

Just a quick shout out to All Zone users and those on the sidelines thinking about getting a pair.I’m a cinematographer and many times I am out in some gnarly locations (“whatever it takes to get the shot!”) but most always when out in the elements where you can’t control the air (ie, in an air conditioned location) there are at least some smells you encounter.Today I was out in Hollywood 17 stories up on a roof of a building for a shoot. Because we are outside, there are areas one can smoke, etc., but with the way the winds blow, you can go from upwind to downwind in a blast of cigar smoke in a matter of a second or thrice. This was a good use for my Dyson Zone cans. They did not disappoint. I really really likes these and yes the air still smellllllssssss freessshhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!! 🤓 The real MVP
