Maximum fan speed night mode auto

It's a shame that you can't set the maximum fan speed for auto when in night mode. Fan speed 4 is a little high/noisy so would be good to be able choose the limit ourselves for certain more noise sensitive areas to only get to a Max of 3 say.

Underwhelmed - Purifier not Cooling

My Dyson Purifier Formaldehyde arrived yesterday. It seemed good initially but to say I'm underwhelmed is an understatement. I've had it going on maximum the entire time and it's not cooling at all! I can feel a breeze but I was expecting it to be producing cool air, not just under room temperature air? Am I doing something wrong? (Edited by moderator – Tags added & Title amended)

Minimum Air Speed

I have a Dyson Pure Cool.Is it possible to set a minimum air speed?For example, as it's hot at night I want it to blow at air speed 2 all night unless when it detects something for which it needs to go to a higher speed. And after it clears the air it then settles back down to the minimum speed 2. But not below that.(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Angle when Oscillation stops

Why does the fan not go back to zero angle when the schedule changes from my day mode to sleep mode where it stops oscillation? Having the fan stop randomly at the angle it was when the schedule occurred is taking away the appearance of the fan plus can create drafts in unwanted directions seeing it just points anywhere. Next Air Purifier release should include a dehumidifier!

We’ve seen Dyson Air Purifiers with optional models that can add humidity to the air in dry climates, but for a lot of us (maybe most of us), we need to DEHUMIDIFY more often.In New Zealand, the humidity here outside ranges from 70-90%, especially towards the north. An all in one air purifier, winter heater, fan AND dehumidifier would be so epic.I’d suggest that it come in the form of a desiccant style dehumidifier so that it can maintain consistent performance through the full range of temperatures, and also have a constant drain tube option so the water container wouldn’t need to be replaced so often. Does anyone else think this would be a good idea in their region of the world?

Aroma Diffuser and/or lit candles

I have always enjoyed a light pleasant and attractive smell in my home. Partly because it helps in disguising unwanted pet odor. Also bcs I love an amazing smelling home that's pet safe, and contains no harsh chemicals. I guess this is both a question and Discussion. Will the scent of either a Aroma Diffuser (which has controls for the Density of the Aroma as well as the concentration percentage), and/or a lit scented Candle affect the performance of the Dyson purifier cool TP07. I noticed when I turned it on again, the readings went immediately to the red, saying bad air quality, etc. This was after moving it to where it's potential home may be, which was only 2 feet away from where I turned it on for the very first time. I did go ahead and turn off my aromadiffuser and lid the candle. Mind you, both were in use when I initially turned it on when I was getting to know my machine. It stated my air was good then. Will this be an issue with these machines moving forward? Any one else ha

HP07 running non-stop in Auto mode

I recently got an HP07 and run it in Auto mode. I’ve noticed that it’s always on even with AQ being good. I previously had an HP02, which would stop completely when AQ was good and then start back up as needed. I’m wondering whether this is expected behavior for the HP07, especially given that filter life will likely be shorter with it running continuously vs intermittently.(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde™ PH04 Running on High fan when set to AUTO

Hi, my fan has been running on high all day when I’ve set it to AUTO. I bought it earlier this week and when I initially set it to AUTO the fan was at a low speed. The app is showing that the ‘Auto Target’ air quality is being met, but it’s still on a high setting when on AUTO. Does anyone have an answer for why this is happening?

Pump problems on Dyson Pure Humidify + Cool PH02 and Pure Humidify + Cool Formaldehyde PH04

Purchased a Dyson PH02 Pure Humidity + Cool in December, 2021. Shortly after, I noticed that the water reservoir wasn’t going down, indicating that the air wasn’t humidifying. After working with multiple Dyson Customer Service techs who appeared not to know what they were doing, they finally agreed for me to get a new replacement model for my defective one. Because Dyson had no PH02 models in stock, they sent me a replacement PH04 Pure Humidifier + Cool Formaldehyde model. Very shortly after getting the replacement, a warning appeared on the Dyson Link App that the pump was no longer working. Then I was told I would have to wait 5 weeks for a new pump because they were out of stock. Told Dyson this was unacceptable as I needed the humidifier before the end of the winter when it would no longer be needed. I am now on my 3rd humidifier and now worrying that I got an expensive “dud” that may be prone to pump problems. I’ve seen similar pump problem comments on the various internet forums.

How to tell if the UV light is working in PH03?

Is there a way to verify and see that the UV light is working on my humidifier? The water in the tank has been getting cloudy even with a deep clean. It wasn’t an issue before and my only assumption is that the Uv light stopped working and is making my water get filled with bacteria.

We’ve spent £2,400 on heat and cool fans that Dyson can’t source filters for…. Soon they’ll be £600 ornaments if Dyson don’t get their act together. When are the filters going to be available?

CO2 Monitoring

As a suggestion, it would be great if purifiers could monitor and graph CO2 levels in ppm in the home. CO2 levels are a great way to monitor how stale the air in the house is. The purifier may not be able to reduce CO2 in the home but by helping users monitor it, people can proactively know when to increase ventilation in the home. CO2 monitoring is a requirement in many commercial scenarios and businesses for their staff and customers and it would be great to be able to bring this to the home in a simple and easy way.

difference between v1 & v2 of the purifiers? Also a quick sound question

So I just bought a Dyson v1 air purifier. I'm not sure what the model number is, I think it may be C2A-US-NNA6739B-465...or that's just it's SSID lol.Anyways I honestly did no research on the product because I wasn't planning on buying it but I got an email from a friend and the price seemed good... Well.. Dyson good. I did have one previously that was much shorter and I believe also a v1 that I got on amazon but it was apparently from a 3rd party seller and there was a warning about how the warranty wouldn't be honored unless I bought it from an authorized seller so back it went before I ever opened the box. Shame though because that one apparently had a heat function.So basically I'm just curious about my machine and what's different about it from a v2 feature wise aside from the LCD screen on the v2.Oh and one other thing..noise levels. How loud is the fan supposed to be? I have it set to max (10) and it's at least twice as loud as my $16 target fan. Is that normal? Does the

Purifier Heater - How to turn on heater without remote

Hello, I have an HP04 2nd generation hot & cool air purifier and can't find my remote. Anyone know how I can turn on the heater manually? It's disabled in my phone app bc I'm in the U.S. It's really cold here and our building's heater is out. :((Edited by moderator – tags amended)

I have been using the new TP09 Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde in my living room for about 3 months now. It now has a filter life of 91% but is already blowing out unpleasant rancid smell. It however still indicates that the air quality in my living room within the green zone or the auto target range. I place an open bottle of pure lemongrass essential oil in my house with the intention of killing germs. Is this the cause of the rancid smell? What should I do? Do I need to replace the HEPA filter now? (Edited by moderator – tags added)

PH01 Humidity - How to use?

I just purchased my new PH01 Humidity and Air Purifier. I was thrilled, being a huge Dyson fan but the humidifier doesn't seem to be getting enough humidity out. I have set at 50 and it has been running full blast for about 8 hours and barely climes a percent. My old cheapo humidifier would knock it out in an hour or less. Am I doing something wrong?

HP09 - Heat mode, fan setting and odd smell?

Hi all, I got a HP09 today and have 2 issues.Regardless of the fan speed setting on heat mode its just on full blast whether set at 1 or 10, is this normal? The fan changes speed on cool mode no problem. And the smell coming from it on heat mode i can only describe as a drill overheating, like a motor burning in hot plastic.It's only been powered on for less than an hour, does this smell go away after a certain amount of usage? Tank Undetected - Humidifier

I just put a new filter in my Dyson Purifier Humidifier and it was working fine for about 20 minutes, now I have a message tank undetected. The water tank is full and it is inserted properly but I can’t get it to work. This seems to be an ongoing problem and I have already had 1 machine replaced for this reason. Humidifier Question - Water level depleting slowly

So I have had this humidifier(PH04) for around a week... The water seems to be depleting very slowly / not putting much humidity out. I am I think on day 4 of it running non stop (night mode at night) and it still has about 1/3 of the tank left.My old cheap humidifier that this is replacing the tank wouldn't last 24 hours running on medium and held a bit more water... So this is putting off something like 15% (or less) of the humidity that was... Is that normal or is something wrong? I expected it to be a bit less because of the filters etc... But this seems like the water would evaporate almost as fast if it was just left sitting out in a container.(Edited by moderator – tags added)
