courier collection fiasco

I have asked for a repair of my Dyson hot/cool tower and three times the collection courier DPD has not turned up. I have been asked by Dyson customer service to reschedule for a FOURTH time. Is there a way to bring the machine to Peter Jones in London for example to get it repaired there? It’s out of warranty and I’m paying for the repair service. I have had to call customer service 10 times already. They are no use.

Dyson Keeps Lying About Sending Replacement

I shipped my humidifier back to Dyson and they received it on July 15. I still have the UPS label as proof. Dyson promised to send a replacement within 14 days. Well here we are in October and I continue to be lied to. “Please allow 48 working hours for process. Once the machine is released you will be notified via email as well.”Dyson never sends an email and no replacement has ever come. It’s clear to me this is Dyson’s business model. They are stealing from people who’ve spent their hard earned money and think this is a reputable company who will honor the warranty and send the replacement timely.The phone number and chat is a joke. I will never buy another Dyson product again because this company has proven to be just a bunch of thieves.

AM09 Hot and Cool not very hot

Is there anyone else with this fan heater? I am really not sure if I was delivered a faulty product or is this product is just not very hot and pretty much useless.If you are more than 2 feet away from the fan you basically get a draft from it, it does not heat the room up at all. I am confused as its brand new and out the box a few days ago. When I bought the Dyson I was expecting a good product but this is more like a barely warm and cool fan?So I wondering if anyone else has any experience with these heaters? I haven’t tried the cooling side of it as I bought it for the heater more than anything.So I honestly don’t know if its faulty or if these heaters are just not fit for purpose, as the hand dryers in my local gym are hotter than this.

Horrible Customer Service

To whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you of a recent customer service experience I had with Dyson. The precipitating event of this was one that every customer will experience: the need to replace a filter. The app directed me to a filter, and since I trusted the app I clicked through the purchase without thinking twice. Then the following events occurred: 1. The filter that the app directed me to purchase was not the same filter that was in my machine.2. I reached out to customer service when the filter did not install in the machine. They sent me a video demonstrating exactly what I was doing, and the service agent insisted that I simply try harder.3. To install the new filter, I had to remove the activated carbon filter already installed in my machine, to be replaced by what looked like simply a paper filter. I had paid for the top tier machine because air quality is extremely important to my family due to medical concerns.4. The customer service agent waved away my concern

Return policy for refurbs

Purchased a refurbed Dyson pure humidify and cool about 5 weeks ago. Before purchasing I checked the return policy as listed on the Dyson home page which basically states that everything except ‘wearable devices such as Dyson Zone. Dyson Zone has a 14 day refund policy from the shipped delivery date’ are returnable. NO mention of refurbished units so I assumed everything was good. So, upon delivery of the unit I decided it was too large for where I wanted to use it and called Dyson and spoke to ‘Fatima’ to effect a return. She advised that refurbished units are NOT returnable. I explained the situation and she said she’d pass my request up to management. Five weeks later and I’ve heard nothing so I called again today and spoke to ‘Harold’. Once again, and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I’m told refurbs are NOT returnable. Harolds ‘fix’ for my issue was to sell the unit to a family member or a friend! I asked him to go to Dyson home page and look for the return policy (see

even after switching off the hot and cold heater fan stays on

I have had my Dyson heat and cold fan heater for a while now… but noticed that once I switch it off from the app… it still remains on? only after it has been switched of from power it truly turns off. Which is weird! if it stays on like that ALL the time, it is costing me a lot of electricity! why is it staying ON ? Does any one know?

Dyson PH02 wont start deep clean

I follow the directions perfectly. I put the filter into the water with the citric acid, press the button but all i get is this icon. It says 2, 3, 4, 5 and never starts the cleaning process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dyson humidifier PH04 not working - Customer service not ready to replace the machine

My machine has been having different types of issues (water level not going down, flashing water stuck tag on the machine among others). The machine is practically un-usable at this point. My machine is within warranty. I called customer service few times. It is extremely frustrating to be on the call with customer service for 2 hours. I live in New York City and the customer service does not have an “authority” to do anything with this type of machine. They are asking to take the machine to the service center as they can't use UPS to ship it back either. There is no close service center around New York City. No-one in NYC has a car or a way to take a machine 2 hours away. Can you let me know what to do with this un-usable machine? I’m really concerned about buying anything from Dyson and appalled at the customer service who practically have no resolution for a machine that is within warranty and expecting a customer to take it to the customer service, Anything soon will be appreciated

BP03 - Chemical smell

Hello, I have purchased a BP03 purifier 4 months ago and when using it I noticed an unusual smell coming out of the machine during operation. It’s somewhat plasticky / chemical but not something I have smelled in other home products. It’s definitely not pleasant and becomes present in the whole apartament if the machine runs for a longer time.I initially thought it was the plastic casing that needed to air out, but as the smell didn’t go away after a while, I had the device sent to the local service center (Bucharest, Romania) to be checked. They kept it for a while and raised this issue with Dyson, the official reply was that this is within parameters. They also told me that they compared it to another similar machine they had and that had the same smell. I’ve read online various reports of this occurring in similar machines or other purifiers that have the formaldehyde catalytic filter installed, so I am wondering if that is not the source. Dyson Customer Service Deterioration Over The Years

I have been a Dyson customer for like 15 years but have never been treated so badly like today. I called Customer Service and spoke with Bert. From the start of the conversation I got the feeling he is already impatient. I told him about my tower fan not blowing air as it used to and would want to know how to clean it. He asked for the serial number and when I asked if he can help me locate it or guide me to remove the base to see it, he replied saying just give us a call back when you have the serial number. Was he not supposed to be knowledgeable on the product and was that not part of his job?!! Only when I insisted did he send me a video link. When we finally found the serial number he went ahead to register my machine. When I asked him again how best to clean the machine he was very quick to say I will book you for a service. I questioned him how he knew the fan is broken when all I am asking is some tips on cleaning. I felt like he was too eager to pass my case to the service cen

AM09 Fan does not stop in heating mode when required temp is reached

I have an AM09 which is correctly Shutting off the heating when it gets up to temperature. BUTThe fan continues to run very slowly and creates draughtsthe oscillation stops, but the fan continues to run at a low levelI would have expected the whole thing to stop operating pending a drop in temperature to the required levelI called Dyson Help in the far east and they have booked it in for a return and CHECK. I was not convinced that the guy knew what I was talking about. I called again today and again the agent I spoke to thought it was wrong but again, I was not convinced as to her real knowledge The manual is not very clear in saying what will happen when the required temperature is reached. It says that the heating will go off. It does not say anything about the fanIs it correct that the fan continues to run a low-level or not?Some authoritative advice would be appreciatedMike

I’ve removed the device from my app, reset the device to factory settings twice, and power cycled it. I still have the exclamation mark on a number of settings. How do I fix it? I think I still have it under extended warranty

Dyson Pure hot+cool is no longer stopping when reaching set heating temperature - Any Suggestions?

I see others may have had this same issue, but I just couldn’t find the response I was looking for. The closest to an answer I’ve read is that it is faulty and to to contact Dyson. Perhaps that’s the answer, let me know. Here’s the issue.For a while, setting the fan unit to heat and setting the required temp (for example, 17) the unit would show the set temp with a red dot next to it to indicate it is in heating mode and blew hot air until the desired temp is reached. It would then go into a light cool air (purifying?) and the red dot disappeared. She. The temp had dropped too low, the unit would automatically pick back up, red dot appears and the heater would start to blow hot air again. No longer. Now, the heater will REMAIN in hot blow with the red dot illuminated and just not stop even when the desired temp is surpassed. External room thermometer is showing 26° but the unit is only set to 17. And it’s still pumping out hot air. We use it in the kids room when we are away and I’m

Dyson PURE HUMIDITY+COOL dirty inside middle section - how to clean?

We’ve got a Dyson PURE HUMIDITY+COOL which we love. We clean the filter monthly using the deep clean cycle. But there seems to be some kind of mold / dirt in the middle part of it, on the inside, that I’m not sure how to clean. See photos (left side, the dirty color on top of the white). Any ideas what this is, and how to clean it? Thank you!

Dyson Cool tower fan not turning on

Hi all , I bought a Dyson cool tower fan a few hours ago. I got home and followed the instructions to assemble it, I then plugged it in and nothing is happening. The fan won’t turn on! I followed the troubleshooting guide online where I plugged it out and left it for 10 seconds and tried it again. I’ve also tried it on multiple plug outlets and tried a brand new fuse. It still won’t turn on. Any help would be much appreciated

Where is your complaints process?

I purchased a Dyson AM09 Fan (Hot and Cold) on 08/05/2024. In early August, the fan displayed an F08 error. After following the troubleshooting steps, the error changed to F03. I promptly booked a repair with Dyson, and the fan was collected on 07/08. It was repaired and returned on 14/08. However, upon its return, I noticed significant cosmetic damage that was not present when I sent it in.I called Dyson customer service to file a complaint. The representative assured me that the issue would be escalated, and I would receive a complaint reference via email. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up.I contacted Dyson again, requesting a replacement unit. A pick-up was scheduled over a week later, which was already frustrating. In the meantime, I reached out to Dyson’s social media team, who quickly arranged a swap.The replacement fan was delivered, and the swap was completed. Just bought the AM7. When I turn it on or off the loop amplifier “wiggles” a small amount. Is this normal? I also struggled to “click” the amplifier into place it didn’t seem go far enough.

Dyson Hot Cold Gen 10 HP10

Hi, I’m in Spain where the temperature indoors is round about 31 degrees. I’ve just bought the Hot Cold Gen 1 HP10 and I’m wondering about the most effective way to get it to work. I’ve tried a few things, mainly out of impatience, like put it in cooling mode and turn the fan to 10, or run the fan a bit more gently, or put it in auto mode and set the target temperature to 22. None of these seem to be having a bit impact on the temperature. Can someone advise on the best way to operate the unit?ThanksKieran

Limited parts availability PH02

I purchased a Dyson PH02 PureCool humidifier filter fan for $900 less than 4 years ago. It came down with a pump problem last year. After six months of trying to get them to help me with it over the Internet, they finally said to just send it to them. I sent it to Dyson for service but they returned to me unrepaired saying parts are no longer available for it. This seems terribly unreasonable given its age. Does Dyson not back their expensive products?
