Unhappy Customer

I have ordered a Dyson Purifier Cool. The item was ordered on 8 November 2024.The delivery of the item was to be done by Startrack. Startrack can only deliver during business hours.As I work I requested that the item be delivered to a nearby Australian Post Business Centre for collection. I was advised by Startrack that this redirection would need to be authorised by Dyson via email.I have telephoned Dyson customer service on a number of occasions without success. I have been advised that they cannot authorise any redirection. I have been advised that they will only permit a redirection to another residential address. Startrack have confirmed that the parcel is in their possession but can now only be collected from their depot which is situated some considerable distance away from my residential address.Dyson Customer Service maintain that they cannot provide me with any assistance. I note that Dyson has processed the payment of $949 for the item...But I still do not have it and I have

Let down by courier 5 times

Sorry to say I have been let down by the repair service courier 5 times despite numerous calls to Dyson. First appointment did not turn up and it was told to wait as it could be in the next 2 days. No one showed up so I had waited in for 3 days for nothing. I called and rearranged but they did not show up again. I called again and rearranged and they have not showed up again. 5 days wasted waiting for couriers who do not appear. Has anyone got any ideas of who to speak to to get this sorted as I’m at a loss?

Is the MyDyson app available in Bulgaria?

I recently purchased an air purifier (TP09) which is officially sold here. I came home to realise that the MyDyson app is not available in Bulgaria. I understand that this might be the case for products not sold officially here, but this unit is sold officially here by the distributer. Gen 1 TP10 : No Remote No Control

I bought a TP10 Gen 1, but my dog chewed up the remote.  The remote is not available for re-order, so I was told to look at the manual for how to get the fan to work.  The problem is: The manual doesn’t show you how to control the fan.  So, if you damage the remote ------you lost the fan as it can’t be controlled. This is a very expensive device and I would not have purchased if i knew this prior.

Dear Dyson Customer Service,I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding my Dyson Air Purifier TP7A. My experience has been frustrating, and I believe it warrants immediate attention.Within the first six months of use, my purifier began making a high-pitched whirring noise. After contacting your support team, I was offered a new filter, which provided a temporary fix, but the issue soon returned. I called support again to arrange for a repair and stayed home from work for the scheduled pickup, but DPD never arrived.Upon following up via message, I discovered that my repair order was incorrectly listed under someone else's name, preventing me from receiving any confirmation emails. very ppor service and not honouring warranty

Purchased a Dyson purifier hot and cold formaldehyde on Amazon. It stopped working just after the Amazon 6 months cover. so i contatced Dyson and had to provide proof or purchase etc which i did. Dyson refuse to repair it despite it being registered with the warranty via their app. they are saying the serial number is incorrect. If it is why does the Dyson app recognise it. It is clearly a dyson and i sent them a picture of it. so i have a very expensive Dyson machine that is not working. they did say i could take it to a Dyson shop -465 miles away!!

How do I reset the filter life indicator on my Dyson purifier heater HP00?

Can someone please explain the reset procedure for a HP00 fan as none of the instructions seem to be correct. I have just received my machine back from Dyson repair and the filter symbol has gone but I am still non the wiser and I am concerned than when it appears again I’ll have to return it again. Whistling noise on newer units?

Hey, My purifier + humidifier was working well until the pump broke. It worked fine until that point. Fast forward, I have received two replacements since I sent back the original unit and the new ones have an awful whistling noise to them, even on the lowest speed settings, this thing is *loud* and very annoying.I was wondering, is this normal? Dyson support wants me to send the brand new unit to repair instead of replacement and It wouldn’t surprise me if they closed the case as a non-issue, which would be awkward because my old unit didn’t have this problem 🤐

How much different is in formaldehyde and VOC removal capabilities between Big+Quiet (BP04) and Hot+Cool (HP09)?

I’ll buying air purifier for my house, because formaldehyde and VOC level is very high.(formaldehyde: 0.4~1.2mg/㎥, VOC: 0.6~2.4mg/㎥) My candidate purifiers are Big+Quiet (BP04) and Hot+Cool (HP09) Formaldehyde.The selection is a bit difficult.My room is about 16㎡, but formaldehyde and VOC level is high. Anyone who bought or tested these two models, How much different is in formaldehyde and VOC removal capabilities between these two?Do you think HP09 is enough to remove the gases in my room?

I tried numerous ways to force a clean cycle (messed up the process on the first one!) pressing the button three quick times or holding the cycle button doesn’t help. Any solutions?

It just keeps getting worse

I thought I’d be safe if I asked support the estimated time it would take to receive a replacement unit or a solution - 10 days is what I was told three times in different phone calls.Welp, its been one month since Dyson received the unit and the best I was offered is a 25% coupon for a unit that I had owned for less than a year before it started giving problems (either that or to wait indefinitely for a replacement). The unit was in perfect state, the only problem it has is the pump that broke for unknown reasons, I even shipped the original box, everything.Think about it, I paid nearly $1,000 for this unit, and it broke ~10 months after its purchase. I had three agents tell me that the warranty process would have a solution within 10 working days.1 month later the administrative department follows up offering me a 25% discount or to wait another 2 weeks (which, by the way, have already passed).I can’t recall of any company having a worse post-sale experience than this, it’s just awfu

Legitimacy of formaldehyde testing???

New here!I’m really intrigued by the Formaldehyde models of air purifiers...like all of them (humidify, heating, cooling). I’m looking into the standards and all the testing done to verify if it’s another industry stretching of the truth like common activated carbon filters - they don’t contain enough carbon to filter VOCs for more than a few days. When I search for the testing standard that Dyson states they used for their formaldehyde validation (GB/T 18801-2018) I get nothing that is mentioned outside of a Dyson related publication. I do find the full standards for GB/T 18801-2015 and GB/T 18801-2022 but there doesn’t appear to have ever been a GB/T 18801-2018 standard. Is it a typo? Is it a falsehood? I don’t know, I want to believe the best, but I also wouldn’t be surprised.

courier collection fiasco

I have asked for a repair of my Dyson hot/cool tower and three times the collection courier DPD has not turned up. I have been asked by Dyson customer service to  reschedule for a FOURTH time. Is there a way to bring the machine to Peter Jones in London for example to get it repaired there? It’s out of warranty and I’m paying for the repair service. I have had to call customer service 10 times already. They are no use.

Dyson Keeps Lying About Sending Replacement

I shipped my humidifier back to Dyson and they received it on July 15. I still have the UPS label as proof. Dyson promised to send a replacement within 14 days. Well here we are in October and I continue to be lied to. “Please allow 48 working hours for process. Once the machine is released you will be notified via email as well.”Dyson never sends an email and no replacement has ever come. It’s clear to me this is Dyson’s business model. They are stealing from people who’ve spent their hard earned money and think this is a reputable company who will honor the warranty and send the replacement timely.The phone number and chat is a joke. I will never buy another Dyson product again because this company has proven to be just a bunch of thieves.

AM09 Hot and Cool not very hot

Is there anyone else with this fan heater? I am really not sure if I was delivered a faulty product or is this product is just not very hot and pretty much useless.If you are more than 2 feet away from the fan you basically get a draft from it, it does not heat the room up at all. I am confused as its brand new and out the box a few days ago. When I bought the Dyson I was expecting a good product but this is more like a barely warm and cool fan?So I wondering if anyone else has any experience with these heaters? I haven’t tried the cooling side of it as I bought it for the heater more than anything.So I honestly don’t know if its faulty or if these heaters are just not fit for purpose, as the hand dryers in my local gym are hotter than this.

Horrible Customer Service

To whom it may concern, I am writing to inform you of a recent customer service experience I had with Dyson. The precipitating event of this was one that every customer will experience: the need to replace a filter. The app directed me to a filter, and since I trusted the app I clicked through the purchase without thinking twice. Then the following events occurred: 1. The filter that the app directed me to purchase was not the same filter that was in my machine.2. I reached out to customer service when the filter did not install in the machine. They sent me a video demonstrating exactly what I was doing, and the service agent insisted that I simply try harder.3. To install the new filter, I had to remove the activated carbon filter already installed in my machine, to be replaced by what looked like simply a paper filter. I had paid for the top tier machine because air quality is extremely important to my family due to medical concerns.4. The customer service agent waved away my concern

Return policy for refurbs

Purchased a refurbed Dyson pure humidify and cool about 5 weeks ago.  Before purchasing I checked the return policy as listed on the Dyson home page which basically states that everything except ‘wearable devices such as Dyson Zone. Dyson Zone has a 14 day refund policy from the shipped delivery date’ are returnable.  NO mention of refurbished units so I assumed everything was good.  So, upon delivery of the unit I decided it was too large for where I wanted to use it and called Dyson and spoke to ‘Fatima’ to effect a return.  She advised that refurbished units are NOT returnable.  I explained the situation and she said she’d pass my request up to management.  Five weeks later and I’ve heard nothing so I called again today and spoke to ‘Harold’.  Once again, and after being on hold for 30 minutes, I’m told refurbs are NOT returnable.  Harolds ‘fix’ for my issue was to sell the unit to a family member or a friend!  I asked him to go to Dyson home page and look for the return policy (see
