Hot + Cool fan heater is not cold or powerfull enough! Help.

Problem as per title really - Dyson Hot+Cool™ Jet Focus AM09 fan heater.We have an average 3 bed semi. In our double room despite having the machine as close as possible - it is not cool enough or powerful enough even when at the end of the bed.I bought it in a sale in anticipation of summer - and now it is too late to replace/return. Anyone else in this position? Any advice?Would Dyson take one for the team and let me spend more to replace it? Doubtful I know, at present in bed it is just white noise. I wish Dyson had stated it was best for a single box room.

TP10 - display question and filter question

Hi! We got our TP10 a week ago and have a couple of questions for the community. 1 - our TP10 display shows the “home” air quality Y axis key as “PM” - all of the online guides seem to suggest this should say AQ - why does ours say PM? I can cycle through and see the PM2.5 and the PM10, but why is the home one PM? 2 - we have been suffering with breathing irritation in our bedroom so got 2 things to help solve this - the air filter (the TP10) and a humidifier. We run these at the same time, and the PM display on the TP10 shows that there is something in the air when the humidifier is running. Obviously the filter is picking up the water vapour coming from the humidifier. Is the TP10 a dehumidifier?? If so, where is the water going? Would this be damaging the TP10 to have it running with the humidifier? I’m surprised it shows up as detecting anything as I would have thought moisture in the air would be pretty normal. thanks!

Horrible Customer Service

I’m very disappointed in Dyson. I ordered a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet Formaldehyde BP04 and received it on Monday, August 12. The air quality monitoring worked for less than one day and then I got the message “No data has been recorded. You can check the status of continuous monitoring in settings.” I checked and it is set to continuous monitoring. I call support Thursday, August 15, and got someone who was hard to understand because of his heavy accent. I tried to explain my continuous monitoring problem, but the person kept trying to explain how to use the remote. I finally had to say STOP AND LISTEN TO ME to get him to listen. I told him I had no way to take the air filter to a USP store to return it for a new air filter. I asked that UPS pick it up from my house. He told me he would be setup the pickup and he sent me a return label. He also told me to call as soon as USP picked up the package so they could immediately ship the replacement.Later that day, I had to call customer ser

Don't buy anything from Dyson, the worst experience I ever had!

I made an online purchase of the Dyson Airwrap and a comb over a month ago. The Dyson Airwrap never arrived; only the comb did. I called Dyson customer service many times, and they provided incorrect information. They updated my address, but the package was still sent to the wrong address. I called to cancel the order and get a refund, but more than 15 days have passed, and I never received the refund! I have never had such a bad experience with any customer service! Dyson has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

12 year old dyson 12 inch evo

I have a 12 inch evo bladless fan that i purchased off of qvc. As a single guy i ran this fan 24/7 for 5 straight years and never had an issue. I have since gottwn married, adopted my two daughters and this fan is still rocking in the newly moved in college dorm room for the kiddo.Highly recomended fan and company.

Repair gone horribly wrong

Have i been scammed?!Had a collection yesterday from DPD setup for my dyson fan.Was collected at 9:30am thought that was it, happy days.Then 4pm another DPD driver came and tried to collect, i advised this had been collected they marked as rejected and left.I suddenly had a bad feeling as i couldnt check anywhere that the machine was taken at 9:30am, who has taken the machine?CS have been useless on both chat and calls.Please help, was this a fake collection and its been stolen? fan plugs

I find the plugs on your large fans dangerous! Every power outlet I plug it into it is too heavy to sit flush to the outlet…plus it’s huge! I find it hanging out of the wall while still running a lot!…I have to constantly check it while it’s running… truly annoying and dangerous! why are they so chunky and heavy???

Swiss Dyson Repair Service - Terrible

Submitted my fan for repair over a month ago and was told it was not repairable - “please wait 5-7 days and our customer services will get in touch”. After having to chase them up three times now, every time I am told the same thing - please wait 5-7 days. More than one month later, nothing, no fan, no information, no one has been in touch - terrible way to treat customers. Thankfully it is not in the middle of summer with over 30 degrees of heat here in Switzerland…..ohhh, wait a minute...

Hello, As its been so hot, I left quite a few of the Dyson room fans on at one of my place since yesterday afternoon so the house is fresher for the guests arrival. Do you think it will be safe to keep them on for 24+ hours and 48+ hours? Or better to switch them off? I have a few Dyson Cool Tower fans and a few DYSON Pure Cool™ Purifying Fan

Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool issue

I have had the purifier Humidify + cool for 3 years now.I used it quite well the first year, then moved to a place with better air and didn’t use it much.I tried to turn it back on a few days ago to realize that it was asking me to replace the filter. Bad luck to me, they are out of stock on Dyson’s website.I also tried to run a cleaning cycle as I haven’t had in the past and felt to clean all of it. I bought some citric powder and tried to ran the test.I got stuck on the cleaning timer after 10 scds and found great help online to try to solve it. I did all the steps but doesnt help.I got the Dyson customer support (Anna) person on the phone, and to be honest she was not of any help.She just said you have to send back your humidifier and it costs 125€. No other choice.Then I ran quite a few topics on the web and it seems that this pump breaking is happening to most of our humidifer and it’s a well known problem from Dyson, mostly about the manufacturing initially. Differences between BP02 / BP03 / BP04 / BP06 models

I am unable to find an exhaustive explanation of the differences between the various Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde models. I recently had an unproductive chat conversation with Dyson support that spanned 30 minutes in which the agent was only equipped to compare the BP03 and BP04 models. Based on my research, it appears that (4) unique models are made by Dyson:Dyson BP02 -- $749 -- Costco exclusive Dyson BP06 -- $899 -- marketed for commercial applications, not sold on Dyson’s website Dyson BP03 -- $999 Dyson BP04 -- $1,099 Other than the obvious variations in color schemes, can a representative from Dyson please provide a clear and complete list of differences in functionality between these models? This would be helpful information to make available to consumers to empower them to make informed purchasing decisions.

HP09 is faulty - display Alert icon

I bought HP09 PURIFIER HOT+COOL FORMALDEHYDE early this year. It works well but suddenly just last 2 weeks ago stops working. When turning on, it displays Alert icon (Exclamation mark) on the display area. I searched online and on Dyson support website. Tried resetting by pressing both power button and power button of the remote control at the same time but it still doesn't work.I reached out to Dyson customer support (facebook messenger). They did some verification on my identity and serial number for warranty. But then after a couple of days, they stop responding to my message and ghosting me. I feel abandoned and helpless.Right now, I still don't get any support or reply from them. Does anyone have the same problem? Did you eventually get it fixed?

Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 TP10 Functionality

My question is fairly simple, however I can’t really find a simple answer on the Dyson site.My questions are: Does the air purification only work when set on Auto? ….or when I have it on fan mode, is the air purification actively working then as well?When I put it on Auto, the fan doesn’t really run when the air quality is good however I like to have the fan running all night while I’m sleeping and I’m simply curious whether in fan mode it is still actively purifying the air while we sleep OR is it simply blowing air around?

Remove Change Filter Message From App.

Hi Everyone, my name is Gary and new to this community.i got a message in the Dyson app to change my filter. Tried to buy a replacement but Dyson were out of stock when i finally got to purchase the filter using the app. I got my filter in good time and changed the filter.I thought as I did in the past as this is not the first time I have changed the filter that this message would go away.Not so, now each time I use the app it displays this annoying message “Your filter needs changing” Dismiss or Purchase Filter !!!!! QUESTION: how do I get rid of this annoying message and reset the fact that the filter has been changed?Are there many people who have this problem? And why can’t you get hold of Dyson to help with this problem?

I was recently gifted two Dyson fans.1st is a Dyson purifier cool gen1 (TP10)2nd is a Dyson pure cool (TP4B)I tried researching the difference and I didn’t come up with a concrete answers on what the actual differences are between the 2. TP02 remote works intermittantly

TP02 fan has stopped communicating with remote. It has gotten progressively worse and now won’t turn on at all.checked batteries twice. Fan power button also unresponsive. was planning on kicking it next. - saving for last resort.
