Digits not showing on Dyson Air purifier screen

My Dyson sir purifier always used to have a number on the screen on the device that would show at a quick glance what the air quality was like. If we sprayed perfume or deodorant for example the number would go up. This has now disappeared and there is just a flat green line that never moves. How do I get the number back?

little rattling sound from tower fan/filter?

I got the purifying tower fan and there's a little rattling sound coming from it, i actually exchanged my original one at the store because it started rattling after a day... this one started after about 10min, it comes and goes and is not very loud as a matter of fact i cant hear it if the tv is on, and it doesn't get louder when i turn it up… It literally sounds like the fan it lightly hitting something or is slightly off balance or th3 bearings are loose or something.... Are these supposed o do this

Air Purifier Big and Quiet smell

We haven’t used it a for a few days, but turned it in today and it’s blowing out an unusual smell. it is about 4 months old. I checked filter and it doesn’t snell and looks clean, but the central part of the Air Purifier, that the filter goes on, does hold the same smell that is being blown out. can any advise what I should do?

Unable to repair my machine - just 2 months after end of warranty!

We bought a Dyson Pure Humidify+Cool a couple of years back, and the 2 years warranty just expired in March. Trying to use it for the summer this year we noticed the machine stopped working after a couple of minutes we switched this on. Troubleshooting via CS wasn’t helpful so we booked a repair - just to receive an email now that the machine cannot be repaired and we’re offered a 25% (!!!) off for a new machine. This is appalling - you’d think high technologies or a established brand like Dyson would make it better than simply telling you that the £600 you spent on their product can just go to waste after 2 years. I was happy with Dyson but I’ll never buy any of their products again. I appreciate unable to repair but offering only 25% discount is a joke.

Month Old Big+Quiet with Software Bug

Good afternoon to the community, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction as I've tried emailing "higher up" in Dyson about a couple of other issues I've had but haven't received anything in coming up a month now. We've purchased a new Big + Quiet and as much as we love the purifier it's got a nasty software bug that seems to start sporadically then becomes permanent until the power is cut to the machine. The bug in question is in relation to the display and the ambient light sensor, after a few hours usage the LCD brightness will ramp up and stay at full brightness regardless of the ambient light, as you can imagine in night mode this defeats the objective of the mode in question. The other behaviour will be night mode will then convert to just the display being off and then when brought out of this mode the ambient light sensor still doesn't kick in so the display is at full brightness. There seems to be abit of a cloak of secrecy in relation to Dysons software update p

Inconsistent fan speed waking up baby

Hi, I’ve had an HP03 for about a week now and we noticed an increase in the night wakes of our baby whose room we bought it for. It appears that despite setting night mode with a temperature and fan speed, once the temperature drops 1° below the set temperature the fan revs up way higher (from 1 to 4 or 5) than the set lowest setting possible. After much investigating it turns out this stark and jolting change in fan noise is what has been waking our baby. It also appears to have annoyed others on this forum and other review pages which I wish I had read before buying this machine. Why does the machine simply not run the fan at a consistent speed and turn the heating element on and off? A consistent fan speed that we choose would be less disturbing and the behavior we have had from other cheaper space heaters. We cannot use this new expensive machine for its intended purpose. When people set a fan speed, we expect the fan speed to stay at that setting - this feels pretty simple.

Night Mode on HP09

When in heating mode, the night mode on my HP09 heater purifier only dims the display but it’s still very bright in a dark room. When in cooling mode & night mode is on, the display is off completely. Is there a way for night mode to turn machine display off completely when heating mode is on?

Dyson PH3 Humidifier Sensor for humidity in room faulty on 5 machines

We are beside ourselves on how to get the PH3 Humidifier to work. Dyson has now sent us 5 replacement machines in last couple months. None of them are reading the humidity in our rooms correctly. All show 74-77 percent. Thus, no water leaves their tanks. Customer Service can’t fix the issue with hours of phone calls. We think they have bad sensors. How can this many new machines have same problem? We run it on Auto and tried off Auto. Pressed remote and power button 10 seconds for countdown to reset, updated software via app, removed water tanks and reinserted, checked if wet at cap above water tank (yes). What is wrong with these?

Hi, I suspect it is the possible WiFi changes, which made me lose access via my mobile. Tried to pair via Bluetooth as suggested, but that does not work either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The $700 dyson Brick

So a couple months after the warranty ended, the $700 air purifier is now a brick. It just displays an exclamation point inside a triangle, won’t do anything else. Customer service made me jump through email, chat bot, and live chat hoops for days before saying I was SOL with this device. Before I drive an hour to the nearest service center to see what they want to charge me to get this $700 device working again I thought I’d see if anyone had ideas of a better way to get this working. *And yes, I’ll share this experience on TikTok and twitter. What a (super expensive) racket they have going on here.

How to deal with Dyson’s terrible customer service?

I bought a Dyson Purifier Big + Quiet on March 11. The order confirmation said: "Shipping within 3-7 business days, plus processing time." It still hasn't shown up and this is almost 2 months from when I ordered it. I have tried to get help from Dyson from both live chat and phone on multiple occasions but haven't been able to get anyone who could help. I have gotten 3 emails from them over the past 2 months, each saying my expected date for my purchase had changed and I should expect it in 7-10 Business Days. It still hasn’t arrived. Today I finally got someone on the phone who told me he couldn’t find my order. When I told him I wasn’t hanging up and didnt trust him to call back or email me a response, he put me on hold for a long time and spoke to the warehouse. He said my order was shipped and should arrive tomorrow. I’ll believe that when I see it. Is there any way to get this company to treat its customers better? I am appalled at how hard it is to get a product for $1,200. Any r

Unsure Of What To Do

We have had a Dyson humidifier/purifier/cool units for over three years now. The first unit stopped working within a month or two and was replaced. Since then, the replacement would work only for several months and then quit humidifying. It’s been in the area Dyson repair facility 4 or 5 times now. The last time, I paid about $180 for a fix that lasted only a month or so. I took it back about a month ago, heard nothing, went to the facility today and was told it couldn’t be fixed - no parts. What is my recourse? It was a good product when it worked, however short. I am certain not going to buy another given my experience. Suggestions?

BP04 Air Quality Sensor Fault

I have had this machine for about five days. Woke up randomly to a sensor fault. Did all the necessary steps to factory reset it and was even on the phone with troubleshooting. They are having me ship it back and giving me a new machine. This is just terrible to experience with this new machine and paying over $1000. Going to give the replacement a chance before I ask for a refund.

problems with Dyson Hot + Cold Autoreact

Hoping someone can help iv only had the unit a few days and have it set on Auto mode, however when in auto mode it doesn’t shut off, even when the screen reads 0 pollutants it’s still going yet the auto symbol in the corner is on, however if I put the unit into manual mode say on fan speed 10 it works automatically and shuts off and on as needed.

tap icon on screen, pure humidify & cool autoreact fan

Please could anyone help, I’ve spoke to dyson online chat & they recommend a new part but machine is still saying same. when I take the water tank out & fill up (keeping all top dry) and put back into machine, after turning power back on a tap icon comes up on screen, this is pretty much a new fan. When speaking with Dyson chat the told me the pump column needed to be replaced, today they have sent me another brand new one, and after filling water tank in inserting in machine after powering it back up the tap icon comes back on ? Has anyone had this, dyson was telling me last week that this new part would 100% fix the problem but it doesn’t seem to have, has anyone else had this fault ??

Same values for PM 2.5 and 10 on device as well as app

I recently bought a TP09 purifier and the PM2.5 and PM 10 readings are always exactly the same. It dies not seem to be an app issue, the readings on the device are the same. The device has been restarted multiple times as well. Does anyone know of a fix? Thanks

TP10 at this rate as always constantly getting stuck on 3rd one or sometimes the others worked perfectly when I first got it a few years ago but I don’t know what you’ve done since for it not to connect. please fix this?!

air purifier filters

Hello, we have 4 Dyson Purifier Cool in our home. We constantly change the filters, every few months based on the indication. Was wondering if Dyson has any recycling program in place in India to deposit the used filters ? The local waste disposers have no idea how to consider these used filters, so they simply seem to add on to the plastic burden. Please let me know if there are any such initiatives or programs active in India, will be happy to collect and drop by the filters or other replaced parts. Thank you Geetha

Dyson AM05 Display Error E8

Recently, my Dyson AM05 started displaying an "E8" error code on its screen after few minutes when heating mode is on. Cold mode is working normally without any issue. I’ve noticed there is only one side of heater is warming up and second one is always cold. Initially, I wasn't quite sure what this meant, and unfortunately, the user manual doesn't provide much information about specific error codes like E8. As a result, I'm a bit stuck as to what steps I should take to resolve this issue.
