Reddit - 7 year old purifier filter looks disgusting

Thanks for sharing 😀!

This is one of those picture that speaks a thousand words! It’s certainly highlights the amount captured within the filter media. 

Although this isn’t your machine, it’s worth noting that 7 years is of course a lot longer than we recommend. Filters should usually be good for up to 12 months use, when your machine is used for 12 hours a day. Some owners might find their changing the filters sooner. This usually occurs where there’s heavier use or in a more polluted environment. Read more on our Replacing the air treatment machine's filter(s) article.
