When set to Auto mode, your machine’s onboard sensors will monitor indoor air quality, and react automatically to pollution events when it detects a drop in air quality - activating to project and circulate purified air. Once the air quality improves, your machine will revert to it’s monitoring state.

What you’ve described seeing on the screen is what we’d expect when your air quality is good, and your machine is in Auto mode in a monitoring state (shown by the green A icon):

It sounds as if your machine is working correctly.

If you want your machine to run continually all night, you may prefer to select the airflow speed manually.
