Looking for tech support for an HP-04 unit.Just purchased from someone who usedit a handful of times. It worked the first day andthen the dreaded 'exclamation point' displayed.Tried the remote power button while turning the uniton for 10 seconds and the night feature as well for 5 seconds.Still no good.

Hi All - I purchased a PH04 humidifier/purifier at the beginning of this year, and it has been a huge headache for me. I normally wouldn’t complain but with the amount of money I spent I think I deserve a better result. I am currently on my 4th unit - each one has after 3 developed a relatively loud high pitch buzzing noise, that I think can most accurately be described as comparable to the sound a cicada (more like 1,000 cicadas) makes. I use the purifier as a fan/humidifier overnight night in my bedroom, and the sound occasionally becomes loud enough to wake me up. It is most definitely not normal operation, because the fan makes an acceptable amount of noise for several weeks up to a few months before it starts happening. 2 of the units replaced outright right away, and the third one I sent to the repair center where it was found to be unrepairable and replaced again. Hi, My trusty old HP00 Pure Hot + Cool unit is showing an ‘E’ fault notification while attempting to put it into auto mode. I’ve not been able to find any information on an ‘E’ code. Can anyone assist please? (Edited by moderator – tags added)
Hi I have the Dyson in our bedroom and noticed we had very high VOC levels from 10pm onwards until we got up in the morning. We took away a memory foam mattress topper and then for the next few night it was on green. Since then it has spiked in the early hours of the morning around 4am then comes down. What could be causing this? Our room also shows very high humidity which is over 70 every evening. Yesterday we used a dehumidifier and it came down but there was still a spike in the VOC reading. Does the humidity of the room affect it?We also notice that if anyone has a shower or bath the VOC reading will go up is this normal? Thank you Jenny
Now the price of electricity in the UK has risen steeply I am finding the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ purifier fan heater very expensive to run! The heater warms the room a few degrees higher than requested then the cooling fan cuts in to cool the room down. The fan is quite cold when this happens! So the machine is constantly running - making it expensive to run. It would have been better to heat the room to the temp requested and only start heating again when the room temp drops same for the cooling fan.
I have recently purchased the Dyson HEPA Purifier TP09 Formaldehyde Purifying Fan.Unfortuantley I have a room that has quite a bit of mold. The purfier that is in the room says that the air in the room is good.Should the purfier be detecting that the room has mold?Or does it only detect the mold when you disturb it (clean it). Be grateful for any advice.Thanks
Purchased a Dyson PH02 Pure Humidity + Cool in December, 2021. Shortly after, I noticed that the water reservoir wasn’t going down, indicating that the air wasn’t humidifying. After working with multiple Dyson Customer Service techs who appeared not to know what they were doing, they finally agreed for me to get a new replacement model for my defective one. Because Dyson had no PH02 models in stock, they sent me a replacement PH04 Pure Humidifier + Cool Formaldehyde model. Very shortly after getting the replacement, a warning appeared on the Dyson Link App that the pump was no longer working. Then I was told I would have to wait 5 weeks for a new pump because they were out of stock. Told Dyson this was unacceptable as I needed the humidifier before the end of the winter when it would no longer be needed. I am now on my 3rd humidifier and now worrying that I got an expensive “dud” that may be prone to pump problems. I’ve seen similar pump problem comments on the various internet forums.
I have been using the new TP09 Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde in my living room for about 3 months now. It now has a filter life of 91% but is already blowing out unpleasant rancid smell. It however still indicates that the air quality in my living room within the green zone or the auto target range. I place an open bottle of pure lemongrass essential oil in my house with the intention of killing germs. Is this the cause of the rancid smell? What should I do? Do I need to replace the HEPA filter now? (Edited by moderator – tags added)
it a 3 months old unit and was connected with wifi and can be controlled on the dyson app before until a week ago we use the cool fan it over night with the timer on. The next day we cannot find it on the app and the wifi is animating, i keep on trying to connect to the wifi as per troubleshoot instructions, it say “Connection Issue we’re having problems connecting your machine to the Wi-Fi network”
I've been interested in purchasing one of the cool/heater fans but I'm not quite sure about the difference of HP7A, HP09 and the Gen 1. If you can share your thoughts that would be gladly appreciated.
So I have had this humidifier(PH04) for around a week... The water seems to be depleting very slowly / not putting much humidity out. I am I think on day 4 of it running non stop (night mode at night) and it still has about 1/3 of the tank left.My old cheap humidifier that this is replacing the tank wouldn't last 24 hours running on medium and held a bit more water... So this is putting off something like 15% (or less) of the humidity that was... Is that normal or is something wrong? I expected it to be a bit less because of the filters etc... But this seems like the water would evaporate almost as fast if it was just left sitting out in a container.(Edited by moderator – tags added)

I see others may have had this same issue, but I just couldn’t find the response I was looking for. The closest to an answer I’ve read is that it is faulty and to to contact Dyson. Perhaps that’s the answer, let me know. Here’s the issue.For a while, setting the fan unit to heat and setting the required temp (for example, 17) the unit would show the set temp with a red dot next to it to indicate it is in heating mode and blew hot air until the desired temp is reached. It would then go into a light cool air (purifying?) and the red dot disappeared. She. The temp had dropped too low, the unit would automatically pick back up, red dot appears and the heater would start to blow hot air again. No longer. Now, the heater will REMAIN in hot blow with the red dot illuminated and just not stop even when the desired temp is surpassed. External room thermometer is showing 26° but the unit is only set to 17. And it’s still pumping out hot air. We use it in the kids room when we are away and I’m
HiI’ve managed to add my Hairdryer with no issues, but both of my fans’ serial numbers are not recognised.I need to troubleshoot the BP01 so need to add it to the app. Any suggestions on how to add them to the app when the serial numbers aren’t recognised?TIATra y
I just put a new filter in my Dyson Purifier Humidifier and it was working fine for about 20 minutes, now I have a message tank undetected. The water tank is full and it is inserted properly but I can’t get it to work. This seems to be an ongoing problem and I have already had 1 machine replaced for this reason. Hi there, I will be shortly moving to the US from the UK and have a series of Dyson appliances which I would like to continue using. Most importantly I have a Dyson Pure Hot+Cool™ Black/Nickel that was purchased in the UK which is barely 2 years old. Can i use this in the US using a step up transformer? Or is there an exchange program at Dyson US which will enable me exchange the UK model with the equivalent US model? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added)
My Dyson Air purifier blows half hot and half cool air. Is this normal? My room will never get warm enough…..
I am unable to find an exhaustive explanation of the differences between the various Dyson Purifier Big+Quiet Formaldehyde models. I recently had an unproductive chat conversation with Dyson support that spanned 30 minutes in which the agent was only equipped to compare the BP03 and BP04 models. Based on my research, it appears that (4) unique models are made by Dyson:Dyson BP02 -- $749 -- Costco exclusive Dyson BP06 -- $899 -- marketed for commercial applications, not sold on Dyson’s website Dyson BP03 -- $999 Dyson BP04 -- $1,099 Other than the obvious variations in color schemes, can a representative from Dyson please provide a clear and complete list of differences in functionality between these models? This would be helpful information to make available to consumers to empower them to make informed purchasing decisions.

How can I find out the PASSWORD to one of our Dyson Hot+Cool Fans? It never had a sticker on it, came shipped to us without one. I see that the TAGS have “password reset”, can someone tell me where to find out how to either get my password or how to reset my password (without knowing the prior one). I have been looking all through the Dyson site and some of the community site for the information, so far no luck finding it.We have three Dyson Pure Hot+Cool HP01 Purifying Heater+Fans. Two came with stickers which have the Serial Number and password printed on them, one has it on the side under the filter, and the other has it on the very bottom of the base. Our third one, has NO sticker on it at all. Back when we got them over a year ago now, the box for each one had stickers and I was able to register all three, and program all three into the cell phone app. Bad part, the box got thrown away by another family member, so I no longer have the password for the one without a sticker.
