DC50 retaining springs, please help!
Hi guys,I have a DC50 and recently tried to replace the changer hose. I got the old perished one out and the new one in ok, but can’t for the life of me remember how the springs go back on.I may have stretched them out of shape too.Can anyone point me in the direction of a tutorial or youtube video or the like with some instructions on how to get these back in? Alternately, maybe someone would post a photo of their DC50 with the springs shown clearly. Thanks in advance.
Wand Issues - Cordless V10
Recently we have had issues connecting the main vacuum brush (or any other accessories) to the wand. There doesn’t seem to be anything blocking access, but it won't fully click into place and therefore won't work. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anything that can be done besides replacing the wand? If replacing the wand is the only solution, will any color work? (our replacement is currently out of stock and we need a functioning vacuum soon).
dyson not working in the US
So I actually need some helpi have a Dyson that I have purchased in india and now I have completely shifted to the US. Unfortunately the Dyson isn’t working here and I know it’s due to the voltage issues. I spoke to the customer care and they instructed me to visit any nearby Dyson show room and that they would help me trade it. But they instead told me that they stopped doing the trade option since 2020. So I am just stuck with the most expensive product without even using it. so please you guys help me out with some or the other option.

What happens to old Dyson batteries, are they recycled?
I recently replaced the battery for my Animal V6 at the new Dyson store in Dallas. I casually asked the employee how the old batteries were recycled. He said, "We just throw them away."Surely Dyson doesn't landfill all these used lithium ion batteries encased in plastic to landfills. They can and must close the loop on the batteries and the plastic used in their products.The employee seemed new. Was he not fully trained or does Dyson really throw away used batteries?
V11 Cordless Absolute screw-in battery - erroneous email info re. availability of replacement
I have now had 2 emails stating the screw-in replacement battery is back in stock, but when I click through, it is still showing out of stock. I realise there are global supply issues, but it would be useful to not receive ‘back in stock’ alerts for something that is not back in stock. I can only guess that it is a technical issue, but I would like a confirmation and/or to know if anyone else is having the same experience.
Money Back Guarantee Issue - 90 days
I contacted Dyson via Whatsapp on Nov 25th with regards to Black Friday Promotions, and was informed of a 90 days money back guarantee. I gave it to my wife on her birthday on Jan 30th, but unfortunately she didn’t get on with it. Today when I contacted Dyson for a refund, I was told that the 90 days period has expired, when it clearly has not (it has been 81 days since Nov 25th). I’m struggling to understand how Dyson is calculating the number of days since purchase (how is it 90 days from Nov 25 to Jan 25)? (Moderation edit - Personal details removed)
Help - My Dyson order keeps being cancelled
So i went to purchase my Dyson Airwrap on the website and Everything was fine and then they sent me an email saying the order was canceled, due to the product not being in stock. So i contacted support and they told me it was saying it wasn’t in stock but that they had a different style in stock. I had them reorder it for me and then i thought everything was good. A few minutes later i got another email saying the same thing. So now i’m confused as to why they’re saying it’s not in stock. I called customer service and they told me the order was actually still in pending status. Well they charged my card and everything and now i’m unsure if i’m even going to get the product and i’m seeing on here that it takes forever to get a response from dyson. water tank refill notification, despite full water tank
I am getting a water tank refill notification, despite having a full water tank. The lid and pump assembly was replaced under warranty, but I am now getting the message again and am out of warranty by one week. I have been through all of the trouble shooting steps and nothing works. It doesn’t make sense to pay for a costly part replacement only to have it happen again. At this price point I really expect a better quality product. Any advice?
Can I submit/share my ideas on future technology with Dyson?
Although we always love to hear feedback on our technology from Dyson owners, unfortunately we can’t accept product ideas and suggestions submitted from outside our organisation. This could lead to misunderstandings - we have to be very cautious, especially in terms of intellectual property. We have a 6,000-strong global engineering team, who are busy developing a pipeline of new Dyson technology stretching 25 years into the future. Dyson OmniGlide castors are blocked and now not gliding
I bought my OmniGlide on 18/12/22 so less than 2 months old.Everything was working well and I clean and empty after every use…until it stopped gliding.Checked soft rollers and they were fine, but then noticed 3 of the four little castors were blocked, and therefore not gliding anymore. I did the best I could to clean them but it’s near impossible. I imagine that thy may send me new castors, but that won’t really help the issue as I’d imagine they’ll just block again, just like the current ones.Waiting to talk with customer support today, but am just so disappointed as I really thought I’d picked the perfect model for my new hardwood floors…but it seems not.Has anyone else experienced this problem?Many thanksLynn

Retailer Contact - Registering Processes
Hey, I purchased a V15 from my local Appliance shop. I was having issues registering my product online due to incomplete serial number and was told to go directly back to the store I purchased it from. I called, then emailed a copy of my serial number and order details. After a few days the store emailed me confirming that the serial number was all sorted. They also sent me through the Chat transcript between them and Dyson Live Chat, it has all my personal details. Is the appliance store allowed to do this? (Moderation Edit - Tags Added/Title Updated)
Brush Bar Problems - Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Vacuum
Hello Community,My wife bought a Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Vacuum in 2020 which MSRP was $699.99. This was the most we had ever spent on a vacuum. I will admit that functionally this is the best vacuum that we have ever owned. We seem to keep having problems with the brush bar it seems to get out of alignment then destroy the plastice becoming more and more out of alignment until it will not function. We have replaced the whole head assembly, sent in to Dyson, replaced only the brush bar (which is part of the head assy) and most recently sent in again where they replaced the head assembly. Considering the age of this and the value of the vacuum we are quite suprised that we have had so many problems. I clean the brush bar before ever use and this is one of the models that there is no filter to clean. I always check to make sure that there are no blockages.Does anyone know why this keeps happening, as it stands Dyson has suggested I take advantage of my warranty that doesnt expire u
Dyson Norway - Order still not arrived after 2 months. Terrible customer service.
I ordered a vacuum from Dyson’s Norwegian website on 28th November last year.We received a confirmation email from Dyson saying our order had been sent on the 30th November. This was clearly not true as we received two more emails 2 weeks later saying it was taking longer than expected to send our orders. Not good but OK, it’s Christmas. Delays can happen. We were told it would definitely be shipped in a week. A week went by and nothing. We did not receive any tracking number or anything useful.After eventually receiving a tracking number the package never seemed to move and did not have an estimated delivery date. Customer service is comprised of people who clearly have no power to do anything and that do not even check status or read previous chat logs. Using the WeChat contact (As there is no phone number to contact Dyson Norway), I was constantly told they will open an investigation. The first time they said it will take 3 days, fair enough. Hello, has anyone had repair collection issues from Dyson. I booked in my Dyson 2 weeks ago for a collection for repair and today was the FOURTH collection slot booked and still not collected! I’ve called Dyson numerous times and been on hold for hours over the last 2 weeks trying to resolve issue and still no resolution to this issue! I have always bought Dyson hoovers and I am fast losing faith in this company! Anyone else had issues and any advice very welcome? Perhaps I should just buy a new Shark hoover instead of wasting my time! 😖. Bring back the Dyson engineers who visited your home pre- Covid to fix Dyson hoovers! Hi, I could not find any Dyson sustainability report. Have I just overseen it or is there really no report of Dyson to that topic? What is Dyson doing in that regard except their award? Especially for climate protection. What kind of energy do they use for electricity, production, heating their buildings, transportation, etc.?

The handle and filter part of my Dyson v7 Motörhead has parted company with the clear dust bin whilst I was emptying it. I have tried to put them back together again to no avail.Can anyone help please?I don’t see a way to add a photograph here so I hope you can understand what I mean

Cordless vacuum - Order experience and feedback. After countless years of service, our very old cordless (DC58) gave us the ghost, retiring to our local Recycling Centre. As My wife and I used this in our washroom, it wasn’t a huge lost, but over the Christmas period she noticed Dyson were running exclusive online sales. Off to the Dyson web shop I went. It had been a while since we ordered a vacuum directly from Dyson and I must say, we were not disappointed. Right off the mark, we were impressed with their recommendation. Having us choose the size of our home, if we had a pet, where we’d be using the cleaner (floor type) and most important to us, if we wanted it for quick or longer use. Surprisingly, they didn't push their latest technology, which really hit home with me as they clearly were not trying to force a sale, after profit or recommend a machine that wasn’t suitable for our needs. I’m having an almost identical experience as this post Order Lost with DPD claiming they couldn’t deliver a click-and-collect order to a post office, and then Dyson support being essentially non-existent and not doing what they say they will.I’m massively unimpressed.
