Service by Dyson

I hope someone in the community can provide a solution as I have for the last 3 weeks trying to get them to service a brand new machine which is not working-Details are given below-There is no email id where one can contact them except wattsapp where they have standard replies regarding default and escalation.I am surprised to receive your wattsapp asking me to rate you for the service rendered in resolving a complaint.I have since 1st November, maybe earlier been requesting you to resolve a problem with your air purifier.This is brand new and has hardly been used as we were never here.I have had a no of exchanges and finally was put to an expert for resolving the problem. The expert finally came to the conclusion that the machine has to be picked up on 10th. November. The machine inspite of being in Dehradun is operating at speed no 10 showing that the air is poor quality, which it is not as the LG machine is showing 70 and less-I was explained that your machine follows WHO standards,

How can remove a vacuum from my 'MyDyson' account?

We had a DC25 vacuum that we used for years. For various reasons, we replaced with a cordless V10 and I have given the DC25 away. Is there a way to remove it from the MyDyson profile?(Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Airwrap making my hair greasy

Hi all,I love my Dyson airwrap but I find that every time I use it my hair is extremely greasy and needs immediate wash.It doesn't happen when I use my normal hair dryer or leave it to dry naturally. Dyson V7 Motorhead Sometimes Not Charging Properly

My title pretty much explains the issue. I have a Dyson V7 Motor Head, recently it started not holding charge but only sometimes. Sometimes it charges to full capacity and I get 20 to 30mins cleaning out of it as I have always done so I know the battery is still good. However, sometimes it seems to charge (takes just as long with lights on in the charger) but then claims to have run out of charge after less than 1min of use (stops running and blue light flashing). This seems to happen almost every-other time I go to use it, there is no one else in the house so I know no one else is using it, any idea what could cause this?

Very Bad Customer Service - 8 weeks waiting on a Part

Hi,How do you make a compliant? I have spent 8 weeks on WhatsApp and Phone calls.  Wrong replacement head sent out Then a Connection Piece sent out - Didn’t fit I have now been onto 3 different CSR, all promised the correct part will be sent out. Nothing has arrived Thanks

My refurbished V11 stopped working after a year

I bought my V11 7/21 as refurbished. I registered it online right away. I have a small space and needed something powerful but small. It is not as powerful as my old Electrolux, but I like a space saver. I used it 10 min max three times a week. Battery is always full when returning to a charger. 4 months ago the vacuum started working by itself when I removed it from charger and stopped only when put back . Not responding to me pushing a switch. A month ago it died . Not charging, not working. The Dyson suggested sending me a new battery. A couple days later, I received an email saying: Thank you for registration your Dyson, your warranty expired 01/04/22. I registered my vacuum 7/21 . Got email about registration today, because I need help with not working item. Originally it says 2 years warranty. Anybody has a similar experience?

PH03A vs PH04

I know the PH03 does not purify Formaldehyde as the PH04 does but does the PH03A purify Formaldehyde?  I’m asking this because I was told at a Dyson repair shop that the PH03A is just a PH04 without the WiFi board.  Is that true?  If so then the Formaldehyde processing should be there.  Can anyone confirm this? —Rocco—

V11 Cordless Absolute Vacuum

I have owned a V11 for 3 years and it has just started to give me problems.  It was initially cutting out and not charging, I followed the steps on the Dyson Support pages and concluded that I needed a new Main Body & Cyclone, which I purchased about 2 weeks ago.  Everything seemed fine for a week but was not charging correctly so I have replaced the battery only today.  It is not charging properly - the blue LEDs come on for approx 10 seconds then go off for approx 20 seconds then come back on for 10 seconds and this cycle just repeats itself.  I have removed it from the charging holster and plugged the charger into the V11 directly but it is still the same.  Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

Thoughts on UV sanitisation feature on the Dyson 360 Heurist?

Hi, am a new user. With the outbreak of Covid19, been seeing alot of advertisements of the sale of UV sanitisation robots. Am a proud owner of the Dyson 360 Heurist, but was just thinking if it be a great idea if there is an addition feature of UV sanitisation added to the robot. DC4 Animal - Ordering Spare Parts

Hello all, I’m very good at repairing Dyson vacuums. I have 14 various models right now. However, I’m a bit of a klutz and in trying to clean my DC14 Animal, it slipped and cracked the cleaner cover. I can “weld” it and repair it that way but I’d prefer to buy a “used” cover. Mine says DC14 Animal on the front. It’s medium to dark grey and I’d like the exact replacement if anyone out there has one they’d like to sell at a reasonable price. Thanks! (Edited by moderator – Tags added)

multi floor 2 on tall/thick carpet

We have a dyson multi floor 2, less than one year old. It works fine everywhere except on one rug in particular, which is too thick or too tall. The head does not spin when vacuuming the rug. Without the spinning head, dirt just stays trapped in the carpet. I tried vacuuming the rug with just the wand but it’s very time consuming and doesn’t clean as well.I saw a video on YouTube where a guy improvised by putting some orings around parts of the plastic head. This just seems ridiculous to me. I bought the “multi floor” model because I thought it would work well on all of the types of floor in our house.How can I get the multi floor 2 to work properly on our tall/thick carpet without hacking it?
