Hi there, I just washed the filter on my V11 vacuum and it immediately started showing the need to wash it again after running it for only 20 min. Would it help or hurt if I soaked the whole filter in water for about an hour before rinsing it clean?

I have a V11 absolute model that’s 4 years old. Every once in a while I notice the frequency that the “filter needs washing” alert comes out increases to the point where even after a rinse/wash and complete dry, it comes on during the first vacuum session. The last time this happened over a year ago, I brought it for deep cleaning. The frequency reduced. Now, over a year later, it’s happening again and after just washing/drying the filter, the alert came on after 15 min of use. I’m thinking of doing my own deep clean, i.e. soaking the filter in water (no soap, just water) for an hour or so, and then go through the normal rinsing process. Would that help or hurt the filter?

DYSON LOST - Terrible Customer Service - Please help

I ordered the Dyson Airwrap for my mother’s birthday on the 13th of September under the promise of it arriving the next day. The parcel was only dispatched on the 16th of September through Parcelforce with it being out for delivery on the 17th. My parcel has now been ‘out for delivery’ since the 17th of September. I’ve reached out to Parcelforce twice with them finally confirming that they had lost the package and my only solution was to contact Dyson as the sender. I reached out to Dyson on the 23rd of September, with them confirming that my parcel had indeed been lost and that their investigation team would reach out within 5 days with a resolution. No such emailed arrived. Reaching out to Dyson again, I was told that I had to wait another 5 days for their investigation team and that this time they would ‘definitely start the investigation’. I only received an update from the investigation team on the 1st of October saying they had finally started the inquiry. I have not received any

New Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP09 Formaldehyde (White / Gold) plastic burnng smell

Hi , I purchased the above unit and it arrived yesterday - i unpacked and correctly fitted the inner and outer filters, then after a while i noticed an acrid plastic burning smell. I had to turn the unit off. one at a time I removed all filters = no smell i added just the white paper outer filters = no smell i added just the blue plastic inner filter = burning plastic smell. I contacted online support and they kindly shipped a replacement filter , but this appeared to be only the outer filter. I went back to the support desk and they advised that the inner blue filter is no longer needed , as it has been integrated into the new outer white filter - can you confirm this is correct please ? regards Lea

faulty straigtner battery

I am absolutely disgusted with the quality of Dyson straighteners. I have only had mine 2.5 years and the battery has been slowly dying over the last couple of month, I had a ‘chat’ with Dyson last week who were adamant that there was nothing they could do aside from charge me £100 to get it repaired or replaced or offer me 25% off if I bought another, which is an insult. Having already spent a considerable amount of money to buy it in the first place, I am not prepared to waste any more money on this product. Towards the end of my ‘chat’ the customer service person agreed to Dyson ‘ having a look at it’ It was collected and I’ve now had emails saying it is not even repairable- Dyson must be aware of the faults with their product as there are many forums where people are complaining about the quality, batteries dying and many more. It’s disgraceful that Dyson are happy to sell these straightener at the price they do, knowing full well they are likely to fail in one way or another. I am

Wheel fell (broke) off the cleaner head. Spoke with Dyson on 08/25/24. Dyson advised that they were going to replace it under warranty. As of this writing, almost five weeks later, I have never heard nothing from this company...

Hi, I was just wondering how to get in to the dyson’s reviewer program? I’ve been using dyson for a few years now and own few dyson products and I love love them and how they have completely changed the health of my hair. I’ve even convinced my fams into purchasing dyson hair tools as I cant stop raving about them. I just filled out a quick survey that was sent to me via email but I dont know if this would get me into the reviewers program. Any tips would be appreciated. Ongoing Issue with Vacuum Replacement – Urgent Resolution Needed Case 41432224

Dear Dyson Support, I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the handling of my recent vacuum exchange request. I initiated a chat support conversation on August 8th to arrange for an exchange of my vacuum, and nearly a month and a half later, I am still waiting to receive the replacement unit that was promised. Over the past several weeks, I have called multiple times, each time being assured that the issue was resolved and that my vacuum had been released from the warehouse. Yet, despite these reassurances, I still have not received the replacement. I cannot understand why this process has been so complicated and prolonged. help needed for my product

dyson going round in circles!!!

I’m still waiting for delivery of an order from 2/9/24 It has been despatched but not received by myself. Whenever I contact Dyson they are no help at all! Nobody knows anything ! I have tried to track my parcel with Parcelforce they said they need more info from Dyson. In desperation I have asked to cancel my order and get a refund !!! Please god save me from Dyson they are terrible to deal with!!!

Need shipping information - can't get a return label

I have been trying to get a shipping label from Dyson for 2 months. They give me my own tracking number and tell me to take it to a UPS store. The UPS store is NOT ABLE to print out the label using the tracking number. Does anyone have advice? Or an address for Dyson and I will just pay myself to ship it back to get my replacement? (it is still under warranty for 3 more months) I am beginning to feel like the run around is on purpose so they don’t have to honor their warranty. any advice welcome as I am extremely frustrated and don’t want to give up on a $599 dollar gift I only used maybe 20 times.

Can't get support from Chat

Hi, my Dyson hair dryer suddenly stopped working. There is no LED light on. I would like to book a repair but the support chat kept saying “Sorry, I didn't understand that.” as I typed in my email address. This is not something I’d expect after paying hundreds of bucks for a device. Please guide me how to book a repair or replacement. Huge thanks!

Getting frustrated now on my 6th Dyson PH04 fan

Yes on my 6th one in just under 2 weeks is there some major flaw in this model first fan humidifier didn’t work second unit came damaged and the 3rd 4th and 5th and 6 one came marked inside the machine filter area on plastic and on the base of the unit inside where the water tank sits and on the top of the main water tank lid marked and scratched do these machines get quality controlled inspected or checked before they leave the factory ? Because I’m not having a good experience at all I’ve asked this to be escalated now to a supervisor yes I’m not going to see inside the machine but for a £700 fan there needs to be some sort of quality control but every time I take the water tank out I’m reminded of a big mark on the white lid it’s like a black streak mark shocking really

Dyson V12 Detect Slim Absolute - Rubber bits falling off and not same suction as initial purchase

Just contacted CS and mentioned about the ‘rubber bits falling off the machine” (near the main chamber) and was advised that I needed to have a video call in order for them to see the issue, however I did not want too do this and therefore they could not deal with that side of my complaint. I also offered to send pics but that was not acceptable for some reason. And whilst the rubber bits falling off the machine do not affect the usage of the machine, after spending a considerable amount of money do not expect any parts to be falling for something that is used for a short time at the very most twice a week for a very brief period. Tried live chat earlier but the robot asked me the same question at least 10 times hence I made the telephone call. I have been told I will be sent a filter for the “ack of suction” but again we have already cleaned the filter at the rear. CS was not the best had to ask the person several times to repeat the different questions it got somewhat frustrating by

Problem with V10 stopping when I connect powered head

When I attatch powered head attatchment the unit will pulse for a split second. It works no problem without head. It also works with wand attatched or not. Just not with the head attached. I've tried everything from replacing the battery and a new motor. I also replaced the head with a new one and still no success. Ive done everything other than buliding a whole new v10 with new parts. This is very frustrating. I dont want to have to purchase a new one after all of this. Please help.

NEVER get my replacement supersonic hair dryer

I texted with dyson SO MANY TIMES since August 3 for my replacement. I sent back my broken one then delivered to Dyson August 21 so I texted again again and again but they NEVER send me even email for updates too. The chat people always said ‘ It will take 24-48 business hour‘ or ‘ Rest be assured you will be getting updates.‘. I can’t trust anymore,tired and it’s really wasting for my time. Please someone help me out for this situation I have no idea what should I do next step. I don’t have a hair dryer over a month it’s so frustrating. I have a trucking number with UPS and case number for my replacement. Thank you.

Can't get answers from Customer Service regarding a replacement vacuum

Hello all! I am beyond frustrated with Dyson customer service for the lack of action. I've contacted via phone and chat many times now since July 20th. My vacuum stopped working, it was under warranty, they said to ship it back which I did and ever since then, I'm getting the most polite response of, "I've looked into this matter and you'll have an email in 24-48 hours". Lots of platitudes is fine but I just want the vacuum. At one point, they said the vacuum I sent in is not available so they were going to send me something comparable. I said fine. Yep! You'll hear in 24-48 hours. I spoke to them again last week and even requested a supervisor who supposedly came on line to chat (I have to wonder if its the same person with a different name/title) and he/she said they had released the machine and I ought to hear in 24-48 hours. I told them I'd been told it was released several times and the person said, this time its released and I'll hear in 24-48 hours. Its now 2 weeks later and sti

Cant reach customer support - IM SO FRUSTRATED

For a couple of days now that my order has been marked as delivered but it wasn't. I am trying to contact them via the chat and get to the part where I need to submit my email address, I got the following error "Sorry, I didn't understand that". I tried to call but it is 50 minute wait time and they hung out on me twice! I am so so so frustrated and I paid a lot of money for items that were not delivered. Can someone please advise? Dyson Pool Vacuum

I was looking at and bought a swimming pool vacuum like a Pool Blaster you can find on Amazon. They had design issues like seals failing and water corroding the motor and circuits. I’d like to see Dyson make an improved one in the future. They’re great for spot cleaning in corners robot cleaners don’t get and it saves hassle getting the hose out and adjusting pump equipment to use the weak suction skimmer vacuums that just put fine sediment back into the pool. Thoughts?

Dyson Customer Support - worst experience in my lifetime

I have been a huge Dyson fan since I purchased my first vacuum, years and years ago. I have had nearly every model plus their hair styling products. I have never had to contact customer support until this last Gen 5 outsize model and so did not know how terrible it really is. I contacted them in November 2023 & after several different attempts was told I would receive an email with the shipping label. I did not receive this and contacted them every 3 weeks, after December, every 2 weeks, and then in Feb. 2024 every week. I have offered to pay for the part from day one and even with this I am still waiting and we are almost in March. Because of my experience with them I am looking for a different brand and hoping I can find something as good. I love my products, I have never returned a single one but cannot support a company that has this level of incompetency in one of the most important aspects of the business. I have given up trying to get this resolved through Dyson. I do feel like

No response from Customer Service - who to contact now?

I am at my wits end. I originally emailed on 29 July - no response. Spoke to Chat on the 2 Aug - escalated case and promised a response within 72 hours - no response. Spoke to Chat again on 8 Aug - promised response within 24 hours - surprise surprise - no response. Phoned on 13 Aug and advised to email again to the same address I had done originally. It is now 21 Aug and my issue still hasn't been addressed. I don't know where to turn now. I can't believe such a big, well respected company do not reply to issues. Thank you
