Diffuser for AirWrap - Love it!!SPOTLIGHTED POST

I was able to get my paws on the new diffuser for the AirWrap, and it’s great! Exactly what’s needed. The angle it’s at is great - I’ve used ones that are at zero degrees and 90 degrees. This is at 45, and I find it a nice angle and balance. I'm a little worried for those with big, long hair, but I think it’ll work fine. Anyone else got one? Meanwhile, waiting with bated breath for the new large round brush to arrive and ship for those days of the straight look.

Dyson Airwrap™ multi-styler - How I get my curls to stay on fine, straight hair

I have very long, straight, fine hair. I definitely had a difficult time getting the airwrap to work for me at first. If you’re feeling the same way, here’s what worked for me! Get the 0.8” barrel! This has made a huge difference for me. The 1.2” barrel left me with very loose waves/body after it relaxes. Basically there would just be some curl at the ends. It looked pretty, but it wasn’t what I was going for. I get much tighter, longer lasting curls with the 0.8”. To avoid weighing down my hair etc. I only prepped my hair with 2 products. I used a It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Lite as a heat protectant/leave-in moisturizer in the ends. Then I used a Tresemme Extra Hold Volumizing Mousse all over my hair. I use the smoothing dryer to rough dry my roots. Then I used the soft smoothing brush to dry my mid-shafts and ends so they’re not soaking wet. The hair should still be damp. I prefer to curl my hair using the Mermaid Waves technique. I divide my hair into 4 sections (top/bottom and left

i.d. curl Tutorial not loading in MyDyson App?

When registering my new AirWrap i.d., there is a section within the app to set it up for styling. When I reach the last step for the tutorial, it won’t load. I have tried different internet connections, logging out and back into my account, and even waiting days im between attempts. It wouldn’t be an issue if I was able to bypass it in the app, but when I try to adjust the settings for the curl i.d., it keeps pointing me to the tutorial. Anyone else have this issue / found a way to resolve it?

Dyson complete long US not working in Morocco

hello, I am having a hard time and struggling with this one. I bought my dyson airwrap Complete long 2 weeks ago in the US, and when back in Morocco, surprised that it is not working. when i’ve contacted the Dyson morocco they told me to use a converter and adapter . which i did, that i bought a step up down , pretty expensive, and still not working . When told them so, they said that i should contact the US and return, problem is that i am based in Morocco and go to the US mostly for business trips… Can you please help me here? I’ve read other people had their issues and got it solved..

tips on how to style short wavy hair

I have used a brush and hairdryer to blow dry my hair for years. My hair is short/medium length and is very curly if left to its own devices. As it is fine and therefore flyaway, I wanted to try the supersonic styler to see if it would improve the style to be more wavy than curly, and less dry and flyaway on the ends. I was disappointed to see there were no options in the videos to guide me on this. I ended up with a 2ft high bouffant with the diffuser, calmed it down with the smaller defuser and a brush, then smoothed it out (somewhat) with the smoothing attachment, which gave it a similar look to what I wanted to achieve, it is very tempting to just go back to what I have been doing for years - hairdryer and brush. The hairdryer itself does seem to be less damaging, and is quieter than my normal hairdryer. Please can we have some models with shorter and curly or wavy hair? to straighten hair and also to do a smooth wavy style I would be so grateful, thank you Lyn C

Help - My curls not lasting - Ideas/Suggestions welcome!

Help! I have had my air wrap for almost a year now and I have not cracked the code. I have fine thick hair and and trying to get the gorgeous curls I see everyone else having. The dyson curls look great at fist but never hold more than 30 min. I have tried pinning them up and a multitude of different products trying to get them to last. How do I get the multi day curls everyone is talking about? I am about to give up since currently my $10 curling iron is creating a better longer lasting curl than my $650 dyson.

Dyson airwrap attachments being wobbly - Is this right?

Just got a airwrap in the EOFY sales. Noticed a few things with the attachments which I am concerned about. In the manual it says that to connect attachments you should "turn attachments into the the main body until it fits securely." But mine seems to have a slight wobble when it use, is this normal?
