I came across this community while scrolling on Reddit! Great to see the Zone’s featured. Very extensive information, I specifically like the Dyson Zone™️ headphones: Getting started | Dyson Community post. I’m sure there’s a bunch of you already on Reddit, so you might have seen this review already. I thought I'd share it either way. (Dyson Zone) Love these things, the Air Purification works amazingly..“The sound quality is better than the AirPods Max. The weight of the headphones do not bother me at all. I have had them on my head for over 6 hours with no pressure points.Included cables are excellent quality with the ability to Charge and listen at the same time while wired.No noticeable delay in audio, able to watch videos and movies.”

Dyson Zone Absolute+ air-purifying headphones review (non-influencer)

Figured I'd lend my non youtube/social media influencer review on these cans. I bought them with my own bread and I don't have any compensation from Dyson or anyone.I've had mine closing on two weeks now. My daily cans are AKG N90Q. Those are also big. I've never used apples earphones so can't compare but the dyson is on par with the ANC of the AKGs.The ear cups feel like marshmallows around your ears and the weight is uniform. They are not heavy to me and I can wear them for longer than an hour with no headaches or neck pain, they don't feel like your head is in a vice.Battery life is not the greatest when you run the filter on moderate, which is the max setting. Dyson mention this in their documentation so it's not a shock. If no music is playing, you hear a subtle whirrrrrr of the fans when the filter is on low/auto/siting. If you play classical music and you have the filter on the highest setting, you may hear some white noise from the fan. I'm a fan (no pun) of Philip Glass and on

Dyson Zone Parts, App, and Feedback!

Hi all,Thank you for having me. Loving my Zone so far. Wish I was able to get the Absolute+ for the copper colored mask and extras. Dyson should sell the extras, or at least the airplane aux cable w/ charging. Would love if you’d sell the Absolute+ mask too, I see having extra masks as being valuable!Secondly, I know it’s quite soon, but I’d like to understand the filter life and replacement cost. I cannot find the filters on Dyson even when navigating to “replace” through the app. Hoping they’re reasonable as the price tag for the Zone is a little hefty.Lastly, if app devs could allow you to further customize the audio equalizer, that’d be totally killer. Other suggestions, maybe a battery life estimation before the purification turns off.Loving these flashy, innovative headphones - as I’ve seen and agree, THE AIR SMELLS GOOD.Thanks!

How to get replacement parts for Dyson Zone?

The main reason I purchased the Dyson Zone is the air purification feature. I have more than 5 top of the line headphones and ear pods at home (cheapest is closer to $300 and most expensive is way more than that). This is mainly due to seasonal allergies that nothing so far can get rid of them. Now I can’t find any way that I can purchase replacement filters so I can stake years worth of them. They are always sold out on the website and no one cared to create after market replacement.  How do you deal with that? This basically destroys the value of the entire thing for me :(

Dyson zone connectivity problems

Hello, i just bought the Dyson zone headphones. I followed all the instructions on the start up and the headphones were connected. Immediately after they where disconnected and a red Led started blinking. I hard reset the headphones and started again. Again the same issue, disconnected by themselves and a red Led blinking.Any help is welcome!

Dyson OnTrac Sound quality on PC

Hello,Currently having trouble getting the headphones to not sound like I’m in a phone call/underwater on my Windows 11 PCI have disabled the mic in the sound settings, as I use an external mic and made sure the audio output is set to “Headphones” instead of “Headset”. I am unsure what to do. There is no application using the mic, which is the typical issue I’ve had with other headphones having this sound quality issue before(all high end, near no bass, crisp, not full sound)Any other help is appreciated. I love these headphones and they sound just fine when I’m using them on my phone not on a phone call, just trying to do the same for my PC.I am updated to the most current public version of Win11 (23H2) and made sure my OnTracs are up to date in the app.

Status of the Dyson Zone in Canada?

Hello, I’ve noticed on the Canadian Dyson website you can’t buy the Dyson Zone anymore. I got mine when they were still not available in Canada, I actually drove down to the US to pick them up at a place I got shipped to at the border. I absolutely love my Dyson Zones and I’m a bit worried that we might never get replacement filters in Canada now as Dyson isn’t even selling the headphones up here. :(I have a condition called MCS and these have made it much safer for me to go outside of my home to do things like grocery shop, or visit people in public spaces.I really hope this doesn’t mean Dyson is abandoning this product, but I suspect it might. I understand that the OnTrac headphones might sell better but I hope the Zone stays in the lineup. I’m now quite terrified of what will happen to me some day when these die. As I especially suspect that with recent changes in the US, we’ll see even more products coming in to Canada that poison the air in enclosed spaces as regulations down sout

dyson ontrac review and issues!!

I’ve recently purchased the Dyson OnTrac and have been using them for 2 weeks now. I tried to look into reviews however most reviews were sponsored/promoted posts, so finding honest reviews was quite difficult. Couple concerns I have with the headphones are: sweat condensation build up in the inner ear cushion. I’m not sure if these are sweat proof but I found that when I removed the cushion, there seems to be a lot of condensation inside. Would this damage the headphones in the long run?    Not the most comfortable headphones.  I personally couldn’t use this for more than 20 minutes before my ears would start to hurt and ache. I’m not sure if it’s the tightness of the headphones or the compression against my ears.    The batteries and headband have fabric kind of material that would get dirty after a while. They’re not removable, so how would I clean them? Sweat, grease and hair products would probably build up on and make it dirty.    switching between noise cancellation and transpar

Ontrac ANC or no noise cancellation during a call

I just got my Ontracs yesterday coming from 3 years of AirPod maxes.if we put aside the loss of being in the  “Apple ecosystem” , the headphones are pretty great and the ANC is stronger in different situations.Unfortunately something that is a bit of a deal breaker is I can’t find a way to enable ANC or disable noise isolation during a phone call. I was at a train station trying to listen to a meeting and I couldn’t hear a thing… i had to switch to my handset. It felt like the headphones actually made things worse, the trains and people sounded louder and the voices coming through the call were quieter.i went through settings and can’t find a way to disable this “call adjustment” feature. How can I do it? as some further feedback, noting that I love the headphones:in general I get the feeling that Dyson and the app has taken away a lot of choice from the user(can’t change the what the buttons do, can’t disable the tap for noise isolation, only 3 eqs etc) plus this phone call issue.i un

Dyson Zone still unable to connect to LHDC

After some more attempts at getting my phone to recognize the LHDC codec on the Zone all my attempts have failed. My device does support LHDC and I have seen it connect to other audio devices with LHDC so I'm a bit lost on what to do. I know that there are some devices that require you to enable LHDC in their app but the MyDyson doesn't have that option either. My device should be able to detect and use that codec but for some reason the Zone is the only one that refuses to show me options apart from SBC and AAC.

Ontrac Noise Cancellation Increase Possible?

I love my Ontrac headphones overall, but was recently surprised when trying my girlfriend’s Apple iPod Max to discover that their noise cancellation is much stronger. Is there a way now, or future software or firmware update that would allow a user to increase the noise reduction db level? Thank you.

Dyson OnTrac headphones - maximum audio quality wired

Hi all,is there any info on what maximum audio quality the Dyson OnTrac’s DAC is capable of, especially when connected wired via the Dyson USB-C to 3,5mm cable (i.e. 24 Bit/48 kHz)? I am experiencing a noticeable difference when hearing music wired vs wireless. OnTrac - head size

Considering purchasing the OnTrac headphones but I have a tiny head and no headphones fit. When I put the ear cups in the correct position there is a large gap between my head and the headband, or if I put the headband on my head the ear cups are too low.The product description says tested on a variety heads but no one can tell me what the minimum size it will fit.My head size from middle of ear (where middle of cup should sit) over the top of my head to other ear is 32cm. Can anyone tell me if this is too small?Thanks
