Finding the ideal place for your dock is crucial. It should be set up in a location central to the home, where it can easily navigate to the areas you need it and be close to your Wi-Fi access point to avoid connection issues.
This location should be against a wall, with a mains power supply, out of bright sunlight and not obscured under a table or other furniture. It needs at least 50cm of clear space around the front.
When you have found a perfect location, follow these easy steps to get started.
- Install the dock in your desired location, plug the charger connector into the charging port and then plug the mains power supply/adapter into the wall socket. A blue led will illuminate when connected.
- Wrap any excess cable around the cable tidy on the back of the dock.
- Align the back panel of the dock with the floor section and press until it clicks into place. The back panel is removable if your need to change the location of your dock.
- Place your robot on the dock, the blue LED light on the back of the dock will turn off. Your robot will initialise, and the onboard lights will light up.
What next?
After you've successfully set up the dock, you’ll need to charge your robot.
