Cordless Vacuum connecting wand to base issue - Any advice?

My first Dyson was easy and I loved it!  After 5 years it was time for a new one. The new Dyson  I have the hardest time making it connect,  it’s  a battle each time I take if off the docking station and add the wand. I just wanted to know if anybody  has had this issue? This is not a issue that came up a year later but from day 1. I honestly thought maybe this new model was just harder to use but I’m ready to throw it through my living room window at this point. I plan on making a short video and sending it to Dyson.

Hi @Shar

Thanks for letting us know about this! 

To determine which part may need replaced -  try connecting the main body DIRECTLY to the main cleanerhead (bypassing the wand). If it connects easily and securely, then the wand may need replacing
If not, then the cleaner head may need replacing. In either instance, please contact your local support to order a part.
