I have a Dyson V12 Slim Detect and the error “Filter not sealed” keeps appearing randomly. Even if I seal it properly it’s there and If I live it a moment or put my vacuum to charge, etc it disappears and then it comes back again with no reason and so on. What can be the problem for this?

Three possible scenarios; in each case, I’d give there online help a once over. Failing that, give them a call. Support | Customer Service | Contact Us | Dyson

  1. The filter is dirty/needs washing - if you’ve sucked up liquid it might cause an issue.
  2. The filter is the sensor is damaged - Dyson will have to replace these.
  3. If you brought a non official filter, it might not be recognised
