V12 clogging of slits/vents with fine dust

Hi everyone!

Our V12 gets very quickly clogged with fine dust at the larger slits/vents reducing the vacuum power and eventually signaling, that the filter has to be cleaned (which is not the case).
Please see the photos for reference:

What can be the problem? I don’t think that this was happening with the new device.

Can it be, that the gasket is not fitting tightly any more and that I have to replace the outer/detachable part of the bin? See next photo:

Hi there @franzm that seal will prevent the build up of dust on the machine. Please reach out to support in your region directly on Dyson.com for assistance with a new dust bin with seal.

Thanks, Teanna! The seal “looks” ok, but that’s pretty much the only possible explanation 👍 I’ll let you know if a new dust bin solved the issue.
