1 motorhead spins the other doesn't | Dyson Community

Strange one here.

I have a Dyson Animal and the battery was replace in the last 2 years. the larger of the motorised heads is not spinning anymore but the smaller one is fine. I bought a new motorised head and that has not helped the situation.

Is it possible that the power draw from the bigger head is too big for the battery? the vacuum functions fine as a vacuum just not with the larger head.

You’re welcome to reach out to us at the Dyson community if you need further advice or support at any point!

I have already replaced the motor head. I had to buy an aftermarket unit because there was no stock.

that doesn’t explain why one motor head works whilst the other doesn’t.
