Losing power - blue light solid on charging | Dyson Community

My dyson V7 seems to be losing power very quickly, it appears to be charging as the blue light is solid when on charge, no flashing etc as others have. It works but then cuts out after 5 mins or so, is this just the battery not holding charge? We have not replaced the battery and had the dyson a number of years.?

From what you’ve described, it does sound like it may be time to replace the battery pack on your machine.
