Good day. Thanks for having me

I've got a SV04 Animal and it surges when the filter is in place or the cannister door is closed. Love the machine and really want to keep it.

Thanks

Cleaned machine and still does it as soon as I either put prefilter in or close cannister door.

Hi @Jsavoie,

Thanks for the update - in that case, the issue could lie with the filter itself.

Morning. Was able to fix it. There is a door or something inside where intake enters that was partially closed. Opened it and no more issues. Thans for your help

Hi @Jsavoie,

Thanks for the update!

The bin inlet flap is designed to ensure debris can’t fall out of your machine’s bin when the vacuum is vertical, during storage or when being moved from place to place.

On occasion it’s possible for debris or residue to jam the bin inlet flap in an open or closed position rather than pivoting freely, and it sounds like that’s what happened here.

Glad you’ve now been able to identify and resolve the issue!
