Warning the official Dyson Airwrap travel case - dyes your device blue!!
My airwrap is beginning to look like Violet Beauregarde from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory”! It’s like when you wear new jeans and the indigo dye starts to stain your hands.
Black and blue velvet carry case with pink ribbons (~$50) purchased from the Dyson website has permanently dyed the beautiful matte pink on my ceramic pop airwrap blue. I have been on many Dyson forums this week to see if I can find a cleaning solution for this, but have struck out. So instead want to warn others with a pink matte painted components that the official Dyson travel carry case will dye that component blue. If anyone has suggestions for alternate travel cases please share! Would love recommendations for both airwrap and hairdryer.
