Hello I have had my dyson for 7 months however today it went boiling hot, cut out and started flashing red whilst using the dryer/smoother attachment? I am worried as I wasnt using it for very long before the dryer cut out and went boiling hot and now im worried to use it for things that would take even longer like curling or giving myself a blow dry. I clean the filter regularly so Im worried I have a faulty air wrapthanks in advance
I bought the Dyson straighteners about 3 years ago and have used them a maximum of a dozen times. Now they will not charge at all. The start button flashes for a few seconds and then does absolutely nothing. I have tried a friend’s charger and have the same issues.Has anyone else had the same issue and is it worth sending away for repair?Many thanks
Hi,I am moving from the US to India permanently. I was told before I bought the Airwrap that I would be able to exchange it with an Indian device when I moved to India. However, I spoke to US customer service today and they said that I have to take my device to India, and then see if the Indian customer service can help me, but the US team cannot. I’m now stuck with an extremely expensive device that I didn’t know would not work abroad, or cannot be swapped in the case of a permanent relocation. Selling it in the US means selling at a big discount, and re-buying in India, which is ridiculous. Is there any other solution to this problem?
Hi all, looking for advice please :)I’m currently having difficulty with the Dyson Whatsapp service, not sure if anyone else has had the same? It seems to be all automated, so I’m getting no resolution to my issue.I messaged them to log my issue that I have ONE specific 30mm barrel which is causing my Airwrap to overheat and cut out after a few minutes of use, the rest of my barrels and fine and cause no issues, just the one. I’ve been tying to order a replacement barrel but they’ve been out of stock for months. The Whatsapp service asked me to carry out the troubleshooting steps, confirm my serial number etc. which I did, as well as sending them a video of the Airwrap overheating, and photos of my air filter and cage cleaned with the brush provided in the set. They went ahead and booked a collection of my Dyson for repair, so I packaged it all up to be collected, and now they’re messaging me again asking for photos of the air filter, which I’ve already sent, and they’re asking me to c
I’ve spoken to customer services today (very helpful), and been advised to order a new filter cover, as it happens I don’t use hairspray, however, I do add blow dry products before drying, perhaps this could be the reason. thanks for your comment back!
So you make a large investment a premium product only to find out that when your hair dryer quits heating you can’t find a proper repair shop to fix your issue. The repair shop in Las Vegas told me over the phone they don’t repair hair dryers. What’s a customer yo do? Pony up another $500 for a new hair dryer. Send to be an unreasonable solution.
Hey, so I have the Dyson Airwrap and I always clean the filter with the brush that it provides to clean it with whenever the light starts blinking. Lately it’s just blinks no matter how much I try to clean it. Yes, I do remove the filter to clean it. Any tips on how to clean it better or is it just my Airwrap that is damaged? Are we allowed to wet the filter lol
My airwrep stopped working sometime last year. After communicated with the customer service and couldn’t get it working after all the trouble shooting steps, I sent the machine back in Nov/2022 and was promised that a new machine would be sent to me in 12 days. Nothing came in Dec/2022. I contacted Dyson and was told a machine was ordered and would be sent to me in 2 weeks. I still didn’t get any machine in Jan/2023. I contacted Dyson again and was told I would get refund and could order a new machine afterwards. Still nothing cam for a month. For a third time, I contacted Dyson for the situation and was promised that a new airwrep was ordered and will be sent to me in 3-5 days. Another month again passed by and nothing came. Now it’s March/2023. I just called again and was told that somehow the order was cancelled and an email will be sent to me in 24-48 hours. I’ve been waiting for 4 MONTHS and still didn’t get a confirmation that ONE new airwrep will be sent to me. This is like retu
You’d think with a brand as innovative and expensive as this one you would be able to repair your device but as it turns out, my daughters hair driyer is unfixable. It seems if you have a problem with the motor, since its made in Malasya there is nothing to be done for you. This only after 4 years of purchase and taking very good care of it. Hello, i purchased the airwrap back in April 22, every time i’ve tried to use it i feel like it isnt powerful enough - my daughter in law has one so i asked her to try mine and she commented that when the attachments are on there is air coming through the buttons. she has the blue one I have the pink one - just wondered if anyone with the pink one had the same issue? Have had hair dryer just over two years. Yesterday, it wouldn’t turn on. No sign of any issues before that. I love the dryer, but won’t spend that much money again for a product that only lasted two years. Very disappointed. For the cost, it should have lasted longer. My airwrap barely used 2 times a month is under warranty until oct 2023. I paid a lot of money for this and the paint is chipping peeling off my pink area on my airwrap I spoke to chat WhatsApp and they said it was full replacement I agreed as it’s under warranty and I sent vidoes and pictures. Today an engineer called me and said it wasn’t covered under my warranty and it’s cosmetic and it’s not covered this is ridiculous and got email them saying my order was cancelled! I am fuming and disgusted with dyson I have already contacted my solicitor and will be going further with this as it’s my rights as a consumer to be replaced as it’s under warranty. Good afternoon! I have a problem in using a hair styler. When I turn on the most powerful mode, my device turns off and the fault indicator lights up. Unfortunately, I am far away and cannot take the device to a service center. I cleaned the filter according to the instructions. These actions did not help fix my problem. Hello, now as much as i love the brand dyson i am extremely unsatisfied with the results of my dyson corale hair straighteners. With my straighteners every night i charge then on the charging stand and then use them in the morning (with the cord attached) and they still die on charge! Making me unable to finish my hair in time and i don’t know if all of them are like this but i am unhappy as if they was charging on the cord while i’m doing my hair they shouldn’t die as they have power flowing to them but it makes me not be able to finish my hair which brings me reason to believe they are faulty. Does anyone have difficulty with airwrap cutting out constantly? Red light flashes and dryer stops. The filter is clean, I don't use hairspray and although my dryer is 4 years old, I only use occasionally so age should not be an issue. (Moderator Edit - Tags Added, Moved Category)
Hi everybody. Husband purchased for me Dyson Airwrap from US and we live in Azerbaijan. So i cannot use it here, because my dyson is not working here. Assistant from website advised to use it with universal voltage adapter. I bought Samsonite adapter from US also, but it doesn’t work with adapter also. What can I do? I would like to change it to Europe model in Turkey, but assistant from Turkey said that, they cannot do it because US warranty is not available in Turkey. What to do?
I just got the airwrap long. When I change the heat settings to warmer, it still blows cold air. I have tried to troubleshoot but I can’t figure out why I can’t change the heat setting. Everything else works great. Anyone have this issue or know how i can fix it?
Having a problem with my straightener turning off when first turning it on. It starts to heat up and then when it is up to the correct heat setting, it shows the charge is empty, I put it back on the charger for a couple of minutes and then it shows full charge, I can then turn it on and it heats to the correct heat setting and is good to go, has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone else have the same problem, hairdryer cuts out every time I use it , brilliant when it works but mega annoying being told to just clean it with toothbrush, it’s not even a year old and having to do it daily, anyone any advice ? (Edited by moderator – Tags added/Moved to a new category)
