High Pitch Sounds Dyson Purifier Cool Formaldehyde TP09

This is my second purifier TP09, as I returned and replaced the original due to the intermittent high pitch squealing sound that it produces and now the 2nd model is doing the same thing. I've researched the community as well as a few other online communities and it concerns me that many people have this same issue and it has not really been addressed as to why and what is the cause. I do not want to visit a repair center as I've stated that is my 2nd machine and therefore it's not an isolated issue.It seems to me that there is a flaw in the design that is not being addressed. It doesn't make sense why it works perfectly fine until it doesn't. If I change the setting from Auto to a number less than 7 I can hear the high pitch sound loudly, 7 - 10 and it can not be heard that much due to the wind speed overpowering however that is not an appropriate sound level to hear all day and after running at that speed for long enough the high pitch starts up again.Many people are attempting t

Filter

I have the Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Link. It's about 5 years old and stopped working correctly about a year ago. I have been using cheaper filters I found online instead of the correct Dyson brand ones. When I called Dyson, the lady on the phone informed me this is probably why it stopped working correctly. Only the Air feature works and the heat works only when it's all the way up, otherwise the letter “E” pops up & it blows air. If I purchase the correct Dyson filter do you think it will work again? I can't afford a new machine.

Dyson Bladeless AM01 Fan Causing A loud Vibrating Noise When The Dial Is Set To High

Lately my Dyson fan has been making a very load vibration noise when the dial is set to high of air speedPlease note the dyson fan has been dropped occasionally on carpet and has received impact from its falls. the vibration noise still continues even with the loop amplifier taken off by counter clock wiseany input on why this very loud vibration noise is happening would be very helpfulplease inform what might need to be replaced, what might be damaged, what might be loose that is causing this

Error message after carbon filter replacement on HP04

I’ve just replaced bot the Hepa and Carbon filter. The screen on the machine is showing the Hepa as ok but the carbon filter is red. I’ve took them off and put them back on again but still get the same message.I can’t see anything on the Dyson site. Can anyone give me any ideas as to what I might have done wrong

ph04 humidity app graph is high

Is the % humidity shown on the ph04 app calculated in the same manner as the ideal recommended range of 40-60 as it is consistently showing high in 75 to 90 range although we have used a dehumidifier

Warning icon prevents continious monitoring

Hi, We’ve been experiencing a warning icon on our Dyson hot and cool purifier (https://www.dyson.co.uk/support/journey/guides/368865-01?machineId=368865-01) for the past month, things we’ve tried to fix it:hard reset powercycling I’ve also followed instructions to enter the diagnostic mode and have the following error codes008-02-01-2008-03-01-2008-04-01-2008-01-01-2008-02-01-2 any ideas would be appreciated, the errors are preventing us from getting any information about air quality and temperature, however the heating element still works. Thanks!

Reset Filter not working

hi! I replaced the filter in my Dyson HP10, but can’t turn off the blinking filter replacement light. I tried using the methods available that were suggested to me in a dyson article about this, but it doesn’t seem to work. can someone help me?

I have a Dyson Purifier Humidify + Cool machine and I need to change my hepa filter, but it has been out of stock in Turkey for months. Doesn't Dyson have a global e-mail address? I cannot use the machine because I have not been able to buy a filter for a long time.

Dyson Purifier HP09 Formaldehyde catalytic filters

Hi,So I just bought my third HP09 Formaldehyde and this one has the old catalytic filters the metal ones you see on Dyson website and packaging. My two older machines has the newer filter that is more of a stepped material. should I be worried I may have a really old machine with older technology? I know Dyson state the machines are now sealed to H13 inside as well as the filters. Would the older machines be sealed to H13? Thank you

I’m a great fan of the Dyson applications and overall pretty satisfied with the two Dyson Pure fans I bought. I’m using them within the iOS-eco system, involving an iPhone and an Apple Watch. Here’s some feedback on my user experience while performing the last deep cleaning cycle:The app points out that a cycle is needed, which is great. I love intelligent appliances, that take the burden of tracking maintainance for me.The app said that I could execute the cleaning process or disable the humification system. Since I was not able to do it immediately, I decided to go with disabling. Unfortunately it did not remember the decision, so it asked me everytime while disabling the controls until I click my decision.Let’s do the cleaning. My pitfalls: The 12 page-in-app description is really a bit confusing, since it’s a mix of do’s and don’ts rather than a step-by-step process. AM09 remote issues - Battery running out

Hi everyoneI have an AM09 hot and cool. Excellent piece of kit. However it came with a dead remote. I changed the battery and it worked well. However the battery seldom lasts more than 2 weeks. I tried several different brands from top of the range to corner shop cheap ones. The story is the same. The battery on testing still has juice in it, but not enough for the Dyson remote. Has anyone experienced such an issue. The machine is only 5 months old. Many thanks in advance

In-App Filter Purchase showing as Out Of Stock - Incorrect version shown (Solved)

Hello community,My first time posting here, so go easy on me :)I have a Dyson Pure Hot + Cold (I think this is HP04) and live in London. Its filter is at the end of its life, so the app is encouraging me to buy a replacement. In the past this has not been a problem, and I have replaced the filter a few times over the past few years. However, Dyson’s site is showing theLe replacement filters as sold out, and there is no indication of when they will be back in stock. Two questions:Any idea when they may be back in stock? Any suggestions on other suppliers in the UK. Amazon has a lot of alternatives which are comparable with this machine, but I would rather stick with an official one. thanks in advance!

TP09 is making a weird "bearing?" noise after some time

Hi,Its been almost a month since i bought TP09. Because of the allergy season i decided to keep it on all night long. I set it on 5 and on the night mode. Somehow it came to my attention that whenever TP09 works for a long time it starts making a weird “bearing” noise. Is this a common issue? I think it has the same problem as here.Can this be fixed by Dyson technician? I don't want a new one with the same issue.Ive already returned it for the maintenance.Thank You!

PH04 Issues - Filter reset still showing - Help!

I have been having the same issue with my PH04 for the past few years and this has arguably been one of the most frustrating problems I have had to resolve. I purchased a PH04 a on November 2020. The machine was fine for a year. I then started getting this orange light with an exclamation point (see picture attached). After 4 phone calls and one service center visit over a span of 6 months (trust me- this is a different frustrating story), Dyson finally replaced this machine in February 2023. 5 months later, I have the same exact issue. I have done everything from reset, purchased new filters, purchased a new water tank, everything. Nothing is resolving the problem. On top of all of this, Dyson is telling me that they cannot cover me under warranty because my warranty doesn’t carry over with the new replacement product they gave me even though it became defective 5 months later. Any help or advice on how I can fix this would be so appreciated. Thank you!!

Dyson Cool not running after 60 seconds - Help!

Cool purifying fan , first generation, shuts down after 60 seconds. reset does not solve the problem. screen shows symbol for wireless with a blurry green A below and on the left side of the screen.

Different Blue filter on HP09 air purifier - Ideas?

So I ordered a second HP09 from Curry’s today already having got one from Marks Electrical last week and the inner blue filters are completely different. Is the formaldehyde magic happening inside now? Are the hepa filters the same for both variants of catalytic filters.
