i would like my Purifier Cool to cut on for a few hours in the morning then take a break until the evening and cut back on for a few hours.
Do i schedule the morning hours and then make the evening hours an event?

You’ll have to use the Dyson App and create multiple scheduled/events on the same day, over different times. Use Auto mode between the main times will ensure it continues to purifier if there’s any spike in AQ.
Event 1: Example
8am - 10am. Enter settings.
Event 2: Example
10am - 4pm. Auto Mode.
Event 1: Example
4pm - 8pm. Enter settings.
If you decided not to use the event 2 example, the purifier should switch off after the event has finished.
