I am in Australia, is there any way my Dyson hot and cold can detect the temperature to reheat the room back to temperature and then turn off?

Welcome to the Dyson Community!
Your Dyson Hot+Cool fan heater will maintain the target temperature you set. When the target is reached, it will revert to monitoring mode - then reactivate if it detects a temperature drop.
It will stay in this cycle continuously, but depending on your needs, you could use the sleep timer function to tell your machine to switch off after a set period, between 15 minutes and 9 hours:
