Keeping your Dyson purifier performing at its bestTIPS - AIR TREATMENT

Here are a selection of tips that could help maintain optimum air purification performance in your home:Your Purifier, Purifier Heater and Purifier Humidifier are engineered to purify single rooms, so you should use it where you spend the majority of your time at home. When placing the machine, make sure there is at least a few feet of clearance on all sides so that the air can circulate effectively. Clean the sensors regularly - Keeping the sensors clean and clear of debris will help the machine accurately record data and react to particle detection in the home. Read the ‘Cleaning the sensor’ article to find out where they are on your machine.  Clean the machine regularly - Wiping the machine over with a dry cloth will help remove a build-up of dust and debris. Floor Dok Multi is to tight for my Dyson Gen5outsize Absolute

I purchased the floor dok multi for my wife as a Christmas present and put it together, inserted the our Gen5outsize Absolute with some difficulty and found that my wife can’t take it out of the dock because it is too tight. I tried to do it and it was very difficult for me also.Hey Dyson & community how do I fix that?

Don’t waste your hard earned money on a Hair Dryer

This company is ridiculous. My hair dryer stopped working right after the warranty expired (how convenient). I had to drive 1h30min to their closest repair facility. Only to hear that the motor is bad. And they don’t have the equipment to fix it, but they will have the equipment some time next year (!!!). And it will cost me 200 dollars. But the repair person offered the “great deal” of 30% discount in a new hair dryer. (Just so it stops working after two years again).The truth is that I am very disappointed that a company this big is not concerned about the quality of the products they put out there. I work hard for my money to buy quality products and now I have a 500 dollar piece of scrap. Anybody else going through the same issue? I heard this is happening to many people, so they clearly have a defective product on the market and they have to be held accountable. Definitely getting customer rights agencies involved. Please reach out to me if you have the same issue.

Disappointed with no update with my Exchange Order - Already waiting for Two months

I was very Disappointed. As I returned my unit to Dyson warehouse on July and until now (end of Sep) I still now yet received my exchange unit. I try to contact Dyson Live Chat, through Call customer service, and also email. All I get is the same respond is waiting and will get back me later. Then no more update for my case.I would like to know how to feedback to Dyson so then it can expedite my case.

A possible design flaw with the Animal 3 Multifloor and a solution?

I am the proud owner of a new Animal 3 Mutlifloor …..butit is very hard to push on carpet.Looked on YouTube where I found the same issue, a possibly solution offered being a replacement ‘easy push’ motorised head, but the review of this showed that it made little difference.On careful visual inspection of the three way slider on the motorised roller/beater head and what physical changes to the airflow through the head occur when moving the slider from ‘floor’ to ‘carpet’ through a floor+carpet mid position, I could tell that there were two ways in which suction could be ‘wasted’ to reduce the drag when the Animal was pushed or pulled across the floor.Both of these ways are effected by opening and closing vents, two below the head in front of the roller/beater and two to the left and right of the slider that draw air through perorated metal gauzes above the head in front of the roller/beater.Logically, to me, to get three different levels of suction the slider should operate the cams th

Where do you have your Purifier?

Anyone that has had a Purifier for a while may have their own tips and tricks for getting the best out of their machine.The best place in the room to ensure the cool or hot air reaches them, where the Purification/Humidification really makes a difference in the home or simply how they make sure their feet stay cool on those warm nights. This topics all about that :)I’ll go first...My home office, which is really a converted bedroom is pretty small, but it also faces the setting sun in the evening. Meaning it gets pretty warm. I’ve found if I position my Purifier in the opposite corner from where my desk is in the room, that I get all day cooling and when the sun beams through the window late afternoon, I can just increase the airflow to stay the same. Anyone else have any tips for dealing with the heat?

 We’ve collated some of our top tips to help you optimise the runtime and lifespan of your Dyson cordless vacuum's battery. Maximum power. Only when you need itWe recommend only using Max/Boost mode for short bursts of intensive cleaning. Using these modes more regularly can speed up the degradation of your battery. Stick to using Auto, Normal or Eco mode for everyday cleaning. These settings provide more than enough power for day-to-day cleaning, and will also give you a longer runtime.Avoid use in extreme temperaturesVery hot or cold environments can speed up battery ageing. The Dyson Airstrait™ straightener: Wet and Dry styling modesTIPS - HAIR CARE

The Dyson Airstrait™ straightener has been engineered to simplify your routine to straighten as it dries, making it ideal for every day fast styling or the days where you don’t have as much time to spend on your hair - with two styling modes, Wet and Dry.In each of these modes there is a different temperature and airflow setting combinations - this helps when straightening wet hair. Recycle refund £65 incentive- terrible customer service and still no money back

Has anyone else experienced absolutely terrible customer service from Dyson regarding their recycle refund service initiative of £65 back. I’ve contacted customer service three times now asking where my refund is as it was supposed to arrive in 14 days and yet it’s been over a month. Everyone I speak to says someone will call within 48 hours and each time I receive absolutely nothing. I’m getting increasing frustrated and getting absolutely nowhere with customer service? Anyone else?

Terrible Customer Service Experience

A couple of months ago my machine would turn off after a few minute of use. I called Dyson and the tech ran me through some steps and said it was the main unit while I thought it was the battery. I purchased a new main unit. It worked for some time and now I have the same issue. It stops after a minute of use. I have tried for more than a week to get someone on the phone without success. The wait times are 60 minutes without a call back option. I tried the automated text method that said it was the battery and that someone would contact me in 24-48 hours which did not happen. If it is the battery, I don't think I should pay again when I was told it was the main unit. This is the worst customer service experience that I have had in a long time.

Well, you can!Whether you want to set it as you get home from work or just at the weekends, your docked robot is ready when you need it, and on standby when you don't.Scheduling allows you to set your robot off to clean at a time that suit you, as well as providing the choice to select the cleaning mode it operates in.
