The Dyson Airstrait™ straightener: Wet and Dry styling modesTIPS - HAIR CARE

The Dyson Airstrait™ straightener has been engineered to simplify your routine to straighten as it dries, making it ideal for every day fast styling or the days where you don’t have as much time to spend on your hair - with two styling modes, Wet and Dry.In each of these modes there is a different temperature and airflow setting combinations - this helps when straightening wet hair. The higher airflow is needed to dry simultaneously.These differences include:   Temperature:The temperatures in Wet mode are 80°C (175°F), 110°C (230°F), and 140°C (285°F). In Dry mode, the temperatures are 120°C (250°F), 140°C (285°F) and BOOST for an additional optional boost for maximum styling impact.  Airflow:Airflow speeds in Wet mode are High (11.9 L/s) and Low (9.2L/s). In Dry mode, these are High (10.9L/s), and Low (9.2L/s). To change between styling modes, press the Mode select button. Recycle refund £65 incentive- terrible customer service and still no money back

Has anyone else experienced absolutely terrible customer service from Dyson regarding their recycle refund service initiative of £65 back. I’ve contacted customer service three times now asking where my refund is as it was supposed to arrive in 14 days and yet it’s been over a month. Everyone I speak to says someone will call within 48 hours and each time I receive absolutely nothing. I’m getting increasing frustrated and getting absolutely nowhere with customer service? Anyone else?

Terrible Customer Service Experience

A couple of months ago my machine would turn off after a few minute of use. I called Dyson and the tech ran me through some steps and said it was the main unit while I thought it was the battery. I purchased a new main unit. It worked for some time and now I have the same issue. It stops after a minute of use. I have tried for more than a week to get someone on the phone without success. The wait times are 60 minutes without a call back option. I tried the automated text method that said it was the battery and that someone would contact me in 24-48 hours which did not happen. If it is the battery, I don't think I should pay again when I was told it was the main unit. This is the worst customer service experience that I have had in a long time.

Dyson Cordless - Cleaning dust bin / container. Is there an easier way?

We have a kennel of Siberian Huskies and though we have several Dyson corded vacuum cleaners many times for a quick clean it’s easier to get a cordless version. I had my eye on the V12 but the static electricity makes the dog hairs cling to the canister requiring me to be able disassemble the pod from the main body and use a compressor to clean it out. My original Dyson DC04 recently packed up after 20 or so years,purchased a 2nd hand DC07 root cyclone,that seemed to work fine,but after paying for it,and its 1st real test run,cuts out after about 40 seconds
