Can you plug a cordless DC59 vacuum into mains power?

I want to plug a cordless DC59 powerhead into mains power to run off electricity rather than run off the battery as I will be using it frequently but at odd times, so I want it to be charged when I need it and not have to change out the battery every time. Is there an adaptor or extension lead that will do this? Thanks.

@kbeau11 The Dyson cordless stick models are designed to run off battery power only. They will not operate while plugged in.

Charging yes. To power on, no. The software doesn’t allow use when on charge.
