How long to wait the main body to be teplaced? | Dyson Community

We have an issue - the vacuum is cutting out when we start to clean. We connected with your customer service, but dont know when the main body will be send! It is very inpleasant without a vacuumcleaner in the house! So please tell me some deadline??

We bought the vacuum cleaner from Dyson.de. The model is V12 Detect slim. Purchase number 1716210430.

This machine is fitted with an automatic cut out. If any part becomes blocked, the machine may automatically cut out. Could you please confirm that when the machine is cutting out, which alert is showing?

  1. Battery
  2. Blockage
  3. Diagnostic screen
  4. Filter attachment alert
  5. Filter wash alert
  6. No alert

We wrote to the support and they said they will send us new main body. My question is when?

Thank you for specifying this!

Please detach all tools and accessories from the machine, including the wand, cleaner head, and crevice tool. Ensure the bin is emptied before proceeding with any checks. After that, turn on the machine and test it to see if the issue has been resolved.

we already spoke with your support, and the check steps were taken, we were assured that we are entitled for a new main body, we want to know when the main bodies will be in stock so we receive the part. We already have an order placed for the new main body. It is really uconvenient using the vacuum this way as we never know when it will be able to work properly. We bought the Dyson vacuum because were assured the quality of the product and service is high. So far the expectations were not met.

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had difficulty ordering a replacement main body and cyclone for your Dyson V12 Detect slim. We support our machines with spare parts and servicing for their warranty period and beyond. Despite global supply constraints, please be assured we’re doing everything we can to add new stock of spare parts and accessories as soon as we’re able to.
