I used the mop of my new V15 Submarine earlier today. The two things it did well 1) - a great job of smearing any marks/bits of dirt and 2) leaving puddles and/or streaks of dirty water wherever it went. 
The ‘Dyson 02 Probiotic’ cleaner that is pushed on the other threads about this, is not only not available in Australia, neither the retail store I went to, or Head Office knew of the product. Head Office checked and informed me there is no planned release date for Australia. 

As water alone isn’t effective and the Dyson recommended product isn’t available - What detergent/s have people tried in the V15 that worked well? What about detergents you tried that didn’t go well?

As you’ve mentioned, Dyson 02 Probiotic hard floor cleaning solution has been specifically formulated for use with Dyson wet cleaning machines.

Where this isn’t yet available, we’d recommend selecting a gentle low foaming household antibacterial detergent, diluted according to the manufacture’s instructions for floor cleaning.

We’d also advise against adding the detergent directly to the clean water tank, until it’s been diluted.
