Lamp not working - Unable to connect a CN version to the UK app.

I have a Dyson lamp that was sourced in China. Because I am in U.K. not able to use the app, and so cannot get the lamp to work. Contacted Dyson in U.K. but no help. Any ideas before I bin it?

I wasn’t aware they locked their products regionally. You might be able to spoof the location.

  • Try setting your phone location to China,
  • Logging out of the App and back in, selecting China as the region

 

If this fails, maybe raise a ticket with Dyson. Seems stupid you can’t use their products universally ion the App.

Thank you for the advice. I did try your suggestion but couldn’t enable Bluetooth. The light doesn’t seemed to respond at all. Have logged with Dyson a week ago but no response
