I have an Outsize cordless stick vacuum with removable battery. After charging I have to remove battery and put back for vacuum to work. It gets power, before removal, but does no suction. When battery removed and replaced it works fine. Have 2 batteries with same behavior so must be unit. Any thoughts?
I have the V7 extra. It charges fine, and was working fine. The roller was damaged (all the “teeth?!” had snapped off) so I bought a new one from Dyson. Since replacing, the roller spins fine, but the hoover seems to be sucking up far less. Really easy bits on the floor don’t get hoovered up. I’ve tried on both normal and extra mode. Any ideas or suggestions? I’ve cleaned the filter, I’ve checked the roller is installed correctly (and it does roll fine when being used), and its fully charged. (Edited by moderator – Tags added)
I have several Dyson products and I think they are all really great. Bought the V-10 cordless 2 years ago and I have really taken good care of it. The battery dies at about the 24 month point (just after warranty expiration). I have taken care of the machine and battery and also tried Dyson’s trouble shooting tips - But the battery will not hold a charge for more than 38 seconds. A new battery is $130 through Dyson and I would hate to have to do this every 2 years. Any thoughts/suggestion? (Edited by moderator – Tags added and Moved to a new category)
I have a V11 cordless vacuum and all of a sudden, the ejection mechanism (red lever and internal stick that pushes lid) is sticking and not opening the bin. I now have to pry the lid open. Has anyone else experienced this? Nothing looks cracked or broken and it closes fine. Would rather try to fix than buy a new bin (plus they’re out of stock) (Edited by moderator – Tags added & Title amended)
I have had my DC59 for many years now. Recently it only works for a few mins. if that. The blue light flashes, like it did yesterday, and I charged it overnight. I pulled the trigger this morning and an orange light came on and went off immediately followed by the blue flashing light.I’m not sure whether I need to purchase another battery or if there is something else wrong with the product. Also the MAX button used to show a blue light when depressed, now it doesn’t show a light at all.I’m hoping you can help.SusieQ (Edited by moderator – Tags added)
Hi. My mother brought a V6 from the local Carboot. I’ve had to buy a new filter, as it didn’t come with one. I wanted to know if we could use it without the filter?I’ve told my mother that she shouldn’t. Knowing her she will be cleaning out the Caravan with it tonight.
