All second generation air  treatment machines will connect to a 2.4GHz network and a 5GHz network.

Wi-Fi Configuration (Generation one and two)

Dyson connected machines are not compatible with:

  • WEP encryption

  • WPS button

  • IPV6

There is no limit to the amount of products that you can connect to your MyDyson™️ app. There is also no limit to how many app accounts that a product can be connected to.

Air Treatment - Generation 1

All TP02, TP03, HP02, HP03, and DP01 products are first generation connected air treatment machines and have their power button at the bottom.

Connection to the MyDyson™️ app can be done in one of two ways. Either click on the purple ‘+’ symbol when you log into the app for the first time, or go to the burger menu in the top left-hand corner of your app and follow the steps provided.

Our first generation of connected products will only connect to a 2.4GHz network. Most routers are dual band and have a 2.4GHz and 5GHz network, so if your product is struggling to connect, you may need to disable the 5GHz network just while you complete the connection. Once connected, the 5GHz can be re-enabled.

Air Treatment - Generation 2

All TP04, TP07, TP08, TP09, DP04, HP04, HP07, HP09 and PH01 products and beyond, are second generation connected air treatment machines and have their power button located above an LCD screen.

Air Treatment - Generation 3 (Autoreact)

All TPXA, DPXA, HPXA and PHXA are members of our Generation 3 Air Treatment machines and have their power button located above an LCD screen. These machines are known as the Autoreact series and are not controllable through the MyDyson™️ app.
