It's quick and easy to set up your Dyson Zone™ headphones to provide purification on the go. Just follow the steps below:
Step 1 - Installing the filters
- Twist and remove the outer cover of the ear cups.
- Holding the filters by the edges, gently press the filters into place in the ear cups.
- Place the outer covers back into position, push down and twist counter clockwise to lock.
Step 2 - Adjust your Dyson Zone™ headphones
- Adjust your headphones comfortably on your head with the adjustable head band.
- Position the headphone on your head. The earcups have Left and Right identifying markers. Ensure that the Left and Right earcups are on the right way round.
Step 3 - Attach the Travel visor
- Attach the Travel visor to the bottom of each ear cup using the magnetic connection. Ensure the Travel visor is the correct way round, with the Dyson logo facing up.
- The Travel visor can be adjusted further by pushing it closer to you or by pulling it away from your face. There should be a fingers width distance between the Travel visor and your face.
- Move the Travel visor up or down to cover the end of your nose and mouth.
How can I control the airflow and purification in the MyDyson™ app?
Once your Dyson Zone™ headphones have been successfully paired, the MyDyson™ app provide you with the option to remotely adjust the airflow settings. This feature allows you to enable the airflow speed best suited to your needs:
In-App product guide
Once your Dyson Zone™ headphones are paired, navigate to the home screen, selecting the ’Settings’ settings icon in the top right, then select ‘Using your machine’.
User guide
Don’t worry if you don’t have a physical copy of your Dyson Zone™ headphones’ User guide - a virtual copy of it can be downloaded from your local Dyson website.
Using the Guides and manuals link, select your machine from the options available and navigate through the page until you reach the ‘User manual’ section. Click on it to begin the download.
Once downloaded, simply view the instructions on filter maintenance.

Dyson’s online support enables users to not only troubleshooting potential issues with their machine(s), but offers a host of useful content, such as the steps needed to replace the machine filter(s).
